Great place to stay in a lovely West Cork Village. Bernadette puts in a real effort to make you feel welcome, advise on your holidays and to prepare top quality food for your breakfast. The guest house is located in the heart of the Village and is ideal as a base to explore near and far.

Myself and a friend made a non unplanned stop in Baltimore after visiting mizen head we emailed and called a few different accommemdations locally in which Bernadette responded fairly fast to offer us a place to stay for the night. She was such a kind, helpful and welcoming host who gave us plenty of travel tips and recommendations. We ate locally and came back to relax in the communal area before heading to bed. The stay was very comfortable and responsibly prices, we had lovely freshly made breakfast and a nice long shower after our travels we would both highly recommend staying here for all types of guests.

My sister and I spent 3 nights at the beacon shore in Baltimore ,the location is amazing- overlooking the harbour, beside the ferries, and restaurants, the breakfast was delicious , the staff were so friendly , helpful and provided great tips on what to explore locally, the room was very clean, I’m looking forward to coming again soon!

We had a lovely double room and the B&B was as good as the last time we stayed there a few years ago. The room was very well appointed with beautiful, crisp bed linen, which ensured a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was fab with a great choice and everything was prepared fresh and to our taste. Bernadette, the owner, was as lovely as I remembered and couldn’t be more helpful. Like last time, we will be back!
