We stayed here last weekend and to be honest the price was the determining factor when we booked and expectations were not that high.I have to say it was one of the best places we have ever stayed in.Sandra was amazing the house was spotless full of character and most importantly it felt like home such was the athmosphere and attention to detail throughout our stay .From the four of us thank you for a super weekend. Sandra and Ronnie become your friends the moment you meet them. Fastnet House is right at the harbour in this lovely fishing village. It is a comfortable unpretentious Bed and Breakfast providing the very best in Irish hospitality and wonderful breakfasts. Sandra did everything possible to help us and far more than one could expect. We will treasure the memories of staying in Baltimore with Sandra and Ron

We had a one nighter here. The house is old and has much character, and it is ideally located in Baltimore. Sandra and Ron are very welcoming hosts and the breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely room. However our bedroom was small with a tiny cramped en suite, and no TV. There was no wardrobe just hooks on the wall on which you could hang up your clothes, maybe the other rooms were bigger.

The Fastnet House B&B. Superb from our arrival to departure. The amazing duo proprietors Ronnie & Sandra certainly go above and beyond to ensure your stay is the best. So good that you will want to return again. We booked prior to our leaving for June next. Warmest of Baltimore & Irish Swiss German beautiful welcomes. What a breakfast full choice Irish. Along with fruits, yoghurt, fruits, cheese & cold meats. Tea & coffee. Selection baked breads. Delicious. Totally set you up for the days adventures. Sandra & Ronnie have all the info you need. From Sherkin, to sea fishing, whale watching. Baltimore, Cork has it all. Some very nice Irish hand knitted sheep & little lambkins for your take away souvenirs. Irish made gloves. Rooms so comfy. Spotless. Kettle. Selection of teas. Herbal and good old Irish Barry's Tea. Coffee sachets. Sugar. Even choclate bars. We have stayed twice in The Annex. Also inside front big room in main house. Prices are the same for all stays in Bed and Breakfast nin Baltimore. So yiu cannot go wrong. The Algiers Bar immediately across from Fastnet House. Open from 5 in the evening. Great Scampi served salad and fries. Front on the square. Bushes bar. Great open Crab sambos. Or toasties. Next bar The Look out. Crab claws fresh sea food. Little store. ATM. Fresh supplies. Try Fastnet house for yourself. You'll want to return. Where you are made to feel so at home. Informative hosts with the mostest as we say. Susan & Dermot

Great location, just off ‘the square’ in Baltimore and next to the castle. Great views over the bay, bars, cafes and restaurants a stone’s throw away. Sandra and Ronnie and such great hosts: friendly, informative and full of enthusiasm. The breakfasts will set you up for a day’s exploring. Wonderful area with lots to discover - sailing, islands, boat trips, walking, castles. Enjoy.
