Cosy, atmospheric bar on the Square in Baltimore. Full of maritime mementos on the walls. Plenty,of staff and service was prompt and friendly. They gave us some lovely fresh crab sandwiches. A genuine local pub.
This is a must stop place when you are in Baltimore. The only problem will be trying to get an outside table. To sit outside gives you a real holiday feel and you could be anywhere in Europe enjoying the food, the sun and the buzz. We had to take a table inside as it was so busy. The service suffers as a result but the young staff are pleasant. Our Pizzas, fish and chips were all enjoyed. I cannot think of a visit to Baltimore which did not include a stop here at any time of the day even if it is just for a coffee at the start of your day.
Have been going here for years and it has to be the most unfriendly bar we have ever visited! The only 2 thing it has going for it are the beautiful view and old style bar! The staff are so unfriendly and the fact that its family run makes it worse! We love Baltimore but wouldn't want to be looking for a friendly face in here
First off lovely people and if there was an extra star I would give it. Great cosy and 'real ireland pub' atmosphere. A special mention to be given to the fresh and tasty sandwiches. Something to really lift your spirits. I go back every time I'm in the area.
Unfriendly & indifferent. No eye contact. Sandwiches are good but somehow spoilt by the lack of atmosphere. Location is the main attraction - great views. Service leaves so much to be desired. Sadly, the younger staff don't have a whole lot to model their behaviours on as the senior staff set the bar.
