Genuine Irish hospitality , add a Sea view a tasty-hearty breakfast and a sprinkling of good weather … You must be at Rathmore House B&B…When I say a view I’m talking line of sight with the Baltymore beacon and if it’s very clear and dark the light from the Fastnet lighthouse can be seen..As for breakfast that can be as hearty as you want - if not then a lighter breakfast is available like the option for fish or eggs with mushrooms..

I finally had a chance to explore the lovely area of West Cork, and the Rathmore House in Baltimore was one of the highlights of my trip. The proprietress Marguerite could not have been more gracious and welcoming to her beautiful new home in this special part of Ireland. A warm, immaculately kept house with beautiful furnishings was just what we needed after a rainy day. Our room had a stunning view of the sea inlet just below. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order! There are lots of outdoor activities including canoeing and whale watching. The nearby town of Skibbereen has everything you could want as far as food, entertainment and friendly people go. I will definitely be back!

On our second night in Ireland, we arrived at Rathmore House. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room with wonderful views towards the bay and even a view across fields from the bathroom. A good night's sleep followed by a good breakfast with excellent choice.
