Hotel's Favourite
We stayed for 2 nights for the 1st time recently in this beautiful hotel and didn't want to leave! Everything from arrival to checkout was spot on. Every member of staff is so friendly and its a pleasure to see. We arrived early not expecting our room to be ready and to grab a bit of lunch outside as weather was fabulous but when checking in we were told we could take our room straight away which was a bonus! Our room was very clean, nice and airy with everything you need. Lunch outside was lovely, as said weather was great and grounds looked picture perfect. We ate 1st night in grill and it was really good, service etc. could not be faulted. We ate in Bell tower on our 2nd night and honestly the food was unreal. Victor and staff really took care of us. Breakfast on both mornings also really good, the choice, variety and service brilliant. Our pool visit was early morning 9am and it was very quiet. Pool area and changing rooms excellent. Covid checks in all areas were exemplary and we felt very safe at all times. Overall we would highly recommend a visit to Castlemartyr and have recommended to friends and family since our return. We will be back!!!!

We stayed here recently. Everything was top class. We had a suite as our son was with us. It was really spacious and fabulous. We eat in the Twelve Ten on the 2 nights and were very happy. The first night, we got our starters and there was a big delay with our mains, but we were offered a drink on the house, so we did not mind. ( i think maybe they forgot to order our main courses). One morning there was a long delay before our breakfast order was taken, but there must have been some issue with staff or something. The 2nd morning all was fine. We will certainly return and would recommend this hotel

There are no bad points about this hotel. It's a luxurious 5 star in a really nice location. The room was lovely and spacious and now we want remote controlled curtains for our house! We ate in Twelve Ten: The Grill and the food was amazing. There was no need for booking for dinner or for breakfast the following morning which was a major plus for us as it made it all the more relaxing. We'll be back

My wife and I along with our eight month old daughter recently stayed in one the lodges on the grounds of castle martyr resort. From the very first meeting upon check in the staff were extremely professional and courteous. The lodge itself was perfect for family’s and my parents also joined us which was a lovely family break. The lodge has everything we needed and was ideal location for travelling some of corks beautiful countryside. We had breakfast included in our stay for the two days. The first morning the service and food was exceptional and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. The second morning the service was not as prompt and unfortunately due to staffing issues the breakfast was cold upon arrival. We did have an amazing waitress called Mary who couldn’t do enough for us and relayed our concerns back to the kitchen and management. Other than this hick up I would highly recommend castle martyr resort to stay in as it’s grounds are exceptional and staff and setting are just fantastic. We will definitely be back!
