Having read some recent reviews I was more than a little apprehensive prior to our visit to Castlemartyr, given the 5 star rating expectations are naturally high. We were surprised to see so many children / families on our arrival however, they rarely caused any disturbance, the facilities on offer clearly kept them occupied. We were more than impressed with...

Stayed late feb, had booked 4 nights but checked out a day early as we were disappointed. Room was nice, comfy bed, great coffee machine. Bedside lamp not working, very little toiletries and coffee pod top ups over the course of our stay. Food average, breakfast dreadful on occasion, not an egg cup to be found for a boiled egg!!...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights over the easter holidays 2017. We had a very easy quick check in. Our bedroom was gorgeous, definitely a 5 star bedroom. Massive cosy bed, very luxurious bathroom and walk in wardrobe! The let down of the hotel is 100% the service in the hotel, breakfast was all over the place...

My husband and I stayed here over the Easter break. We had a lovely stay. Check in was fast and efficient. The rooms are spacious, clean and the Nespresso machine is a lovely facility to have. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was a musty smell over the few days we stayed in the room however, not quite sure what this...

This was our second stay at Castlemartyr and again we found the very same issues haven't changed in the two years since we were there last. Whilst the hotel and surroundings are lovely, what lets this place down is unfortunately the poor service. Took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks at the bar on a number of occasions which...

We were most surprised with the luxury of the room. Our meal was excellent. The gardens and grounds were inviting. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting...

Stayed here over easter weekend with our two dogs and from start to finish we had the loveliest time. It was our first time bringing the dogs away with us so we were a little nervous but they absolutely loved it! Staff were so lovely and accommodating and our room was incredible. The dogs had their own little run out...
