Sligo is off the touristy route. Beautiful area, with many interesting sites. You can hike, bike, ride a horse, listen to communal Trad sessions.. Geraldine Gibbons, the fabulous hostess of Yeats Lodge, will let you in on what's going on and how to get there. Gorgeous place, huge rooms and tastefully decorated. Homey feeling, welcomed by adorable hosts.

A very warm welcome, a feeling of genuine personal interest and eagerness to make my visit as good as possible. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and warm, tastefully decorated and very relaxing. The location is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland and very quiet, yet easy to get to with an excellent restaurant close by and only...

Geraldine and Mike were awesome hosts! They provided information on activities in the area and knew who to contact. They made us feel like family! Great sitting room with stove that helped remove the damp chill. And a short walk to the pub.

When you first arrive, you will notice that Benbulbin seems to sit in the the lodge's backyard. This is only the beginning of the magic. Stay as long as you can; Geraldine is generous in her knowledge of this extraordinarily beautiful and special area of Ireland; simply brilliant at knowing who, what, where, when to visit. Yeat's Lodge is so...

The location is beautiful. The breakfasts are varied with many options - and any requests are honored. Geraldine is fabulous and a wonderful hostess, very accommodating. She even irons the sheets! The area of Sligo has great restaurants, and is a vibrant city, close to many historical sites.

My sister and I and some friends stayed at Yeats lodge last April. We were late, but Geraldine stayed up and let us in, although I'm sure she was ready to go to bed. When we awoke in the morning, we got to enjoy Molly and the goats and donkey. The stay was comfortable, the food was good. And the...

I stayed at the Yeats Lodge as part of a Wild West Irish Tour. The lodge was built as a B&B. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, with room for clothes and plenty of hot water. Everything is immaculate, the breakfasts are wonderful, and Geraldine, the owner, is very knowledgeable on local history. She knows all the great restaurants in town...

We stayed at Yeats Lodge with friends as part of a Wild West Irish Tour which takes small groups of 6 or 8 people, housing them together and taking daily excursions from the b & b. Our hostess/owner,Geraldine, was personable and knowledgeable and obviously loved sharing her enthusiasm about the area and it's people. Rooms were spacious and clean. The...

This was the most beautiful B&B we stayed at on a 11 day trip around Ireland. It was really quiet, and the views outside were astounding. The B&B had the feel of a family home with the professionalism of a hotel. It was quaint, cute, large, airy, and spacious. She also had 3 different options for breakfast, and her salmon&eggs...
