Beautiful manor home run by June and son Henry and family, who make you feel as if you are welcome guests in their home! The large estate is well maintained with a wonderful afternoon tea and memorable evening meals! It overlooks lovely gardens and a large lake with walking paths around the property. We loved this place and would happily...

This kind of service is hard to find anywhere. This family will make you feel like a true guest. We arrived in the middle of dinner but it didn't seem a bother and although I felt guilty, we were made to feel comfortable as we sat down to enjoy an exceptional meal. The dinner is a set menu but don't...

This was without a doubt the highlight of my trip to Ireland, actually of all 5 trips.I felt peace and serenity. Everyone who comes here is blessed with a special experience. Henry is a superb host and Lucy is a chef worthy of Michelin stars. Never would have expected to be offered seconds.

We arrived in pouring rain not knowing what to expect and received a very warm welcome from the owner Henry. He explained the history and showed us to our room which had everything we needed and amazing views over the lake. We sat in the lounge area which had a wonderful ambience relaxed but a beautiful hunting lodge style. Henry's...

This was our first visit to Ireland and we were simply overwhelmed by the quaintness of this old world hotel. June, the wonderful, charming hostess greeted us immediately and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was spacious and overlooked the lake and beautiful grounds. We were just in time for dinner and it was what you'd expect to eat...

If you're looking for a quiet retreat for rest and relaxation, this is the place. It's very peaceful and overlooks beautiful Lake Corrib! The house itself is very old and a bit outdated, which adds to its charm. The hosts are wonderful. Very friendly and inviting! The food is amazing! A full course dinner every night at 8 sharp. Breakfast...

We treasure great memories of a three day stay at Currarevagh House 20 years ago. We went back last week and what a glorious stay we had. The house is Ireland's oldest family run historic house receiving guests. The views of Lough Corrib are stunning. The hosts' welcome is genuinely warm, the house most comfortable and the food is truly...

My husband, my parents and I spent 2 nights under the attentive hospitality of June, Henry and Lucy. June is an impeccable hostess with a twinkle in her eye, Henry consistently wrestles up a variety of delectable breakfast treats with a smile and Lucy's chef skills are 5 stars at least. No matter how busy, Henry and June always seem...

Currarevagh House is a rather unique little gem where time takes a back seat. This part of the world is rather special and your stay at this country house perched on the Corrib will be memorable. Henry, the head of the house is an attentive and genuinely caring host. Food here is first-rate and be prepared for a rather fortifying...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night using a blue book voucher. I can understand the appeal that this hotel has to people but for the 2 of us on a romantic weekend away, it just didn't live up to that expectation. Firstly the bed was 2 single beds pushed together, it felt like we were sleeping separately,...
