We stayed here recently. Great location overlooking the Lough. It can be a bit tricky to find as its located more or less at the end of a one track road but I think it adds to the charm and experience of the place. The room was fairly large and the bed was very comfortable. we had a sound sleep...

We managed to book this fabulous b&b after they received a cancellation. We were greeted by Gary and shown to our room. We were blown away by the size of it and the view from the floor to ceiling windows & door. The view over Lough Corrib was spectacular and could be enjoyed by sitting at our little veranda that...

Superb breakfast (loved the sausages). Comfortable beds and roomy accommodation. Peaceful setting bedside the lough for walks and watching the stars, as very little light pollution. It's at the end of the road but well signposted and easy to find.

This place was a perfect place to stay. We were treated with great Irish breakfasts each morning and a very friendly and locally knowledgable host. We were given great information about walking in the area, including a few spots we would have never have known about otherwise. The location of the B&B has views out over Lough Corrib. It is...

We booked this B&B last minute, and I'm so happy we did! Our host was up and waiting for us since we got in a bit late and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was phenomenal, the bed super comfy, and the view amazing. We had a huge breakfast, everything delicious. All in all, it was one of my...

Gary Costelloe know how to run a B&B. He is the owner of the Lakeland B&B. Of the many places my grandson and I stayed, during our two-week vacation in Ireland, this was our favorite. We arrived with rain and a cold wind at our backs. Gary settled us into our room with fresh coffee and a sweet. Our room...

I stayed here from 4/415 to 10/4/15 and have been coming back each year for a week since 2000. it's a wonderful place and Gary the proprietor is very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts are superb and evening meals will match anything offered in the restaurants in Oughterrard. Looking forward to staying again next year.

Rustic setting, spacious rooms, friendly man who steered us in all the right directions, our favorite breakfast of all the B&Bs. The location was beautiful- right in the country with cows & horses which my children enjoyed.
