A gem on a lakeside setting. So welcoming and cosy. Best steak you will ever experience. Make sure you have plenty of time coz it's totally chilled out and laid back. Have a drink or two while waiting.

What a little gem right by the Lough Ree lake. Beautiful setting on a balmy summer evening. Restaurant is like your granny's sitting room, very quirky and cosy😀 excellent steaks and great friendly service. Manfred & Geraldine are the owners and also the chefs and are a lovely couple. You really must visit and eat at the Chalets, you won't...

First visit to this "gem" on a Monday evening having played golf in the nearby Glasson golf course. Ordered the shared camembert for starter, followed by T-bone steak. Starter was excellent. The steak was enormous and perfectly cooked. Chips, salad, onions and sauce were gorgeous. Prices were very reasonable for the huge amount of food served. The restaurant is very...

If you like steak then this is the place to go to, portions are HUGE. Hidden away between Glasson and Quigleys marina it is well worth a visit in you are in the area. Be aware though it is not open on Tuesdays and end of season is November I think. Plenty of choice if steak is not for you....

this place has the best steaks I've ever tasted and very large. although there is no booking tables, if there is a large crowd then I would suggest ringing them in advance, you will probably be told to arrive early to be guarantee getting a table for your group.

What this eatery may lack in frills and airs and graces it more than makes up for in wholesome oh my goodness, honest to god the best and largest steaks I have seen in a long while. Field mushroom starter followed by the fillet and you can roll me home!!!!

Stayed here with a large group. Chalets are adequate, have everything you need but they are not plush. However, the hidden gem here is the bar and restaurant which you really don't expect to find. Its quite big and great atmosphere. They cooked us bbq food in the outdoor (covered) part, which was really good. We were allowed to have...

Had an incredibly disappointing stay at these chalets. My family and I stayed in chalet 2, and were greeted with a damp and massively cobwebbed shack of bugs. The place appeared as if it hadn't been cleaned in a year.. We stayed ten days, and every day was a battle with spiders. In the shower, pillowcases, beds, ceiling, everywhere. The...

Family get together with grandparents, family and young grandchildren. It was difficult to keep children amused due to slow service. Steaks were lovely but alas the two duck orders we so disappointing -totally burned so were inedible. When this was pointed out we were offered something else but we couldn't wait as children were now away past bedtimes. Duck order...

Arrived with family and friends for a bank holiday visit. Seated promptly and we had a drink while perusing the menu and awaiting orders. We got our starters and children's food together, some of those who hadn't ordered a starter were sorry :) Our main course arrived with a side salad and chips separate. We didn't get an explicit portion...
