We had come down from Cork on our road trip of Ireland and did the Killarney Park drive. What a fabulous journey along the 'Ring of Kerry' to our stop over in Waterville. The B&B looked very impressive in a picturesque setting along the inlets and outlets of the sea. You have to travel off the road for about a...

We had a very nice night at the lakelands Guesthouse. Booked 1 night for a break half way through the Ring of Kerry and it was simply beautiful. On the lake shore with a beautiful view over the lake and an amazing, secluded, quiet location. Very nice and helpful owners.

As cyclists we strive to find B & Bs in locations that allow us to cycle out to great places. This is one of those! This home (and it feels like a home) is near several great places! We cycled to Valentia Island and took a boat trip to the Skellig Islands, and several other great rides. Anne and Frank,...

We arrived at this B&B fairly late in the evening (9:30 pm), but the owner was there to greet us and set out tea. We were very lucky to get a room with a balcony! We took an evening stroll through the property down to the lake to watch the sunset. I stayed up very late on our balcony to...

I'm so glad we discovered this place. The views were amazing! It was so peaceful and beautiful. I would recommend staying here. Anne was a perfect hostess and took care of our every need. This was our first B&B of our Ireland trip and it was by far the best. We got in late our first night and Anne was...

We stayed at the Lakelands on a recent short trip to Ireland and we are so pleased that we stumbled upon this property. The location is stunning and the guest rooms enjoy panoramic views over the loch. The rooms are large, clean, furnished to a high degree and enjoy a balcony from which you can take in the views. Anne...

The Standing Stones House is owned by Anne and Frankie Donnelly who also own the Lakelands Guest House. It is a house that stands alone on the edge of a mountain ridge, and is right beside some Standing Stones claimed to be 3000 - 4000 years old. We booked directly with Anne Donnelly for 10 days in August. It is...
