The weather was, erm... typical irish - but nobody can blame Ann for that! She gave all four of us the feeling to be at home and welcomed at all times. Next to the fresh sea food and excellent breakfast she impressed us with profound knowledge about all that was or is of interest about the area. The rooms were...

We stayed here in Sept 2013 for one night on our vacation to Ireland. It was by far the best Bed & Breakfast the whole trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We immediately felt so welcomed by Ann. She gave us a lot of information on the area that helped us out tremendously. The breakfast was delicious. Her homemade warm...

We stayed here recently during a fishing trip. This is without doubt the nicest b&b I have stayed in. Ann is a great hostess and is very welcoming making you feel right at home. The dining room and bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is good. The view of lough currane speaks for itself!

We had a lovely time in this out-of-the -way B & B. Ann was "over - the - top" in her hospitality and warm welcome. She is a professional chef and we added the delicious option of dinner to our stay. She made a wonderful fresh fish dinner, (and by "fresh" I mean, the catch was just a couple of...

Ann has created a lovely B&B in the heart of the countryside on Lough Currane. The welcome is really sincere and the family do a great job. Little Finbarr 5 year old son, is a great source of entertainment, chasing the rooster in the yard and ensuring we know who is in charge! you can guarantee your breakfast eggs are...

We were very happy while staying at the lodge with Ann. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating in planning around our foiled boat tour, pointing out great day trips, and being adjustable with our schedule. The hospitality and scenery cannot be matched. I plan to return someday. Thank you Ann!

This B&B is lovely in every way. Spent only one night but wish I could have spent a week. The view is stunning, the location off the over-beaten path but still very convenient, and the atmosphere peaceful and restorative. Ann McCarthy seems genuinely kind and interested in her guests. She works hard to ensure her guests are comfortable and well...

Ann is charming and her scones are delicious! The B&B is hidden away but once you find it, the view is wonderful. Ann gave us a great suggestion for where to dine - it was lovely, and we followed it up with a stroll on the beach! Her son Finbar is a sweetheart :)

Ann is a very warmhearted landlady, her pancakes for breakfast are a delicious start into the day. Don't be bothered by the freerunning chicken and the cows next door, it is a perfect place for hiking and fishing. You will have an outstanding view of the lough from the combined breakfast and living room.

The 3rd night of our tour of the Ring of Kerry. This is ideally situated just out of town so wonderful solitude and views. Only a short drive into town if you want to go in but Ann does cook an evening meal if you want. We didn't take her up on this as we wanted a few pints too!...
