We went for a family lunch, hoping that under new management the food would be better than our last experience. Sadly this was not the case. Having seen on the menu, which is misleading in saying 'to share' I asked if the large seafood salad was enough for two people or were we better getting a small one each. I...

We went there for a birthday celebration .The room we got was very comfortable except that you had to negotiate lots of ups and down stairs . Lovely view of the bay from the window of the bedroom . Dinner was only served in the bar and the menu was very limited and overpriced for a bar meal .cooking was...

Stayed here on Saturday night in a large front of house bay window room overlooking the bay. Our receptionist Trish was very pleasant and friendly. Big old style refurbished hotel with a nice atmosphere. Open fires in the lobby were welcoming and we enjoyed sitting and chatting there. Breakfast probably fell a little short albeit enjoyed.

I have wanted to stay at the Eccles for years but it was either closed or had a wedding or something else going on. It is still a work in progress but what scope. From the moment I walked into the reception Trish was all smiles and, Ooops, no Mr. Hogan on our system. Never mind we are in the...

We checked in for 1 night, we did not find the receptionist the warmest of people. Just sign here, food served here and there etc. We looked at the bar food menu, its over priced. We did not eat dinner in the hotel. Our room was at the complete end of the hotel, up stairs, down stairs eventually we got...

The hotel staff were friendly, the food and drink were good and the atmosphere was lovely. A very 1920's, 1930's feel about it. The rooms were not massive, but were perfectly adequate and the view from the bedroom window was breathtaking! Slightly more expensive than the other accommodation on this trip but well worth it. So much so, we booked...

Family rooms are spacious enough with great Sea view! Early check-in requests are considered and reception staff are friendly. Ample parking space in front of the hotel. Breakfast served to the table and has some decent options to order for. Room heaters are little slow to fire but should be ok with Non-Winter days. It is close to a gas...
