I stayed here for one night and man dealing with us wasn't very pleasant or welcoming, then the room was not in good repair, alot of stains, the view also very bad, the breakfast was fine and the front and public areas where nice and looked clean, also good enough location to walk into town.

I stayed at Glen Gat Guesthouse while on a short business trip and Tim the owner is lovely! Extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice along with the bathroom. The building itself was great, very traditional and lots of character. Very homely and cozy. Huge breakfast! Very delicious, would definitely stay again.

Its ok basic B&B though the breakfast is excellent ! The room was cold and the radiators were either on the blink or the eastern european receptionist did not understand the concept of "cold" !! The request for a blow heater or stand alone radiator were met by total blankness and i ended up just getting into bed to keep...

We were looking for a place to stay the night and found this place while on the train to Dundalk from Dublin. I must say the young lady who met us at reception was very pleasant and made us feel at home the moment we entered. She couldn't find the key to our room but eventually did but didn't try...

We were tired, long trip and difficult driving out of Dublin and we were looking forward to a good night sleep in a clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately that was not the case. Our room smelled bad and looking into the bathroom at all of the mold it was easy to see why. The building was fabulous, old and full...

We stayed one night, our first night in a B&B on our Ireland trip. The B&B is nice and the size of the room and bathroom are adequate. It is an older property but in a good state of maintenance. The host, Tim was friendly. We walked the 2 blocks to the main street thru town easily and found a...

We stayed here for one night at the weekend as we were attending a gig in Dundalk. We arrived at about 2pm and we were able to check in straightaway. The only parking was on the street and it was pay and display until 5:30pm. It said it was €1 an hour and you could only stay for 2 hours...

We were in Dundalk for a family event & stayed at this guesthouse overnight. It is conveniently located in the centre of Dundalk. The house has beautiful antique furniture and an old-world atmosphere. We enjoyed hotel-style comfort, at half the price of a hotel. The bed was most comfortable and the location was quiet, so we enjoyed a good night's...
