Read very good reviews of Fennessys and booked single room for one night. Interesting experience. Asked for a quiet room, given my room key, but couldn't locate my room! Had to go back down to reception, room was accessed through door marked dining room! Creaking bed, shower edges not the cleanest. Men's tub of hair gel and bottle of after...

For a nice place to lay your head for the night, a great breakfast and friendly staff. Old school feel to everything. Refreshing. I'd be back when travelling through Clonmel. Old pub downstairs and very central

A small B&B above a local pub located in the main part of Clonmel town, the price was cheap and just what I needed. The only downside was my stay was, it was during a weekend and it get very busy in the pub with the noise spilling out into the street. The breakfast was basic but fulfilled all my...

B&B, and early house pub. There are no lifts here. The area is a little run down but it is in a central location of the town. The full Irish breakfast is very nice. The cost can be 70/80 euro, with no discernible reason for the difference. We paid 80 for a small room while our friends paid 70 for...

I stayed here last month , cheap and cheerful l, nice breakfast and I think it was the owners serving breakfast the next morning, nice people . Room was small enough but that doesn't bother me personally, I think it's good value for what you get. Bed breakfast and a good nights sleep what more can you want!

On an overnight stay in Clonmel, I walked into town for a few pints and stopped into Fennessy's. I didn't have to stop anywhere else. The bartender was very welcoming and the Guinness here was just great. The people were friendly and I had a good night. I will be stopping in next trip out for sure!!!

Very central location. Staff were friendly. Decor bit dated in a 'Grace Brothers ' type style. Bedroom and en suite were clean. The breakfast was a full Irish breakfast and service was good. I could not have the TV and Kettle on at the same time in my room as there seemed to be only one plug socket. Due to...
