Stayed here last weekend, the place is run down, badly in need of renovation. Their web site shows a very false picture. Also if you fancy going to sleep before the night club closes, forget it. One of our group who managed to get hold of the manager to complain about the noise from the night club was verbally attacked...

I happened to stay for one night at Hearns hotel while in Clonmel. I have stayed in hotels around Ireland regularly and this one is the worst I've stayed in in a long time. My room was at the front of hotel on top floor. After checking in and getting my room key I made my way to the room....

It is such a shame a centrally located Hotel is let down by decor and noise. The staff are very friendly, but the bedrooms are very basic with little amenities. The carpet as you walk in from the car park certainly has seen better days, and the bedrooms need more attention too to cleanliness. Clonmel was a short base for...

once a good solid middle order kind of place, with poorly washed glasses, gaffer tap on the torn sofa, sepulchral lighting and music bashing through the walls from its own nightclub, it's time for a remake/refit/rethink.

Just passing through Clonmel we decided to overnight and see the town. We chose Hearns as it was central with parking. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful but there it ends. The room was small and not very clean, cups stained etc.,window would not stay open on one of the hottest nights, had to prop open with coathanger. Being...

This is the place to stay if you want to 'party all night'. The website does advise there is a late bar and disco on Saturday night and this meant that it was impossible to sleep until after 2.30am. View over the car park is uninspiring and half of it is used by the revellers as a smoking area so...

I have used this hotel a number of times for business functions and they have been so helpful and kind the staff really do make the place. We stayed there overnight to break up our journey and the hotel rooms are fab and very reasonably priced. The breakfast in the morning was the best (I had stayed at a 4*...
