This is a very well run B & B within walking distance of the rock and the abbey in Cashel. The grounds are large, as is the house, with large rooms and en suites. Although the property does face a road the rooms are very quiet at night, so even if you are in one of the front rooms (as...

On a recent driving holiday around Ireland we stayed one night at Aulber House. I must say that first impressions are very good. The house and gardens are very impressive and very grand. The gardens are spectacular. We were warmly welcomed by Bernice and shown to our room. It was a good size with a KS bed as was the...

Aulber House is a purpose-built guest house, owned and managed by a person with extensive and appropriate hospitality industry experience. This is in a stark contrast to some B&Bs that are the family home where the kids have moved out and the parents think they'll make some money from the spare rooms, without spending any money changing the rooms. Aulber...

Comfortable, large rooms within east walking distance of the rock of Cashel and the village. You can walk to dinner and to the monument. The hotel staff was very helpful and thet provide an ample, tasty breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Aulber House. What a beautiful setting and such an accommodating host! We drove from there to the Rock of Cashel, but it is within walking distance (possibly a 45 minute walk). I highly recommend!

We spent five days in this delightful B&B while exploring nearby ancestral lands. Bernice and Sean are wonderful hosts. Rooms are bright and airy, TV and lots of amenities including tea and coffee in the room. Beautifully landscaped grounds. Very convenient to town where there are lots of good restaurants and pubs. Great Irish breakfasts. Five star plus.

I would call the Aulber House either a large B&B or a small inn. It is styled like an older house, but it was built by the innkeepers in the late 1990s. The public areas ooze old-time charm. There is a nicely done sitting area upstairs and a living room area on the main floor with a large TV and...

We booked this as a "first stop" in Ireland, driving directly from the airport to Cashel so we could get out of the city and try that "driving on the wrong side of the road" thing right away and avoid lots of traffic ...it was perfect. We arrived in Dublin around 5 pm and rented the car, drove to Aulber...

My wife and I stayed here on our first night in Ireland. The house and grounds are beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The owners are excellent hosts. Breakfast was amazing, prepared to order. Convenient location to explore the central region of Ireland.

We were so excited pulling in to Aulber House because it's a dream come true for fans of Georgian architecture and placed in such a beautiful landscape. We were equally happy when we walked into our room, both for its quality and for the clear view of the Rock of Cashel. It had all the amenities and comfort of a...
