On such a fabulous evening we decided to take the kids up to Bray. It was kind of like and end of summer bit of fun. Kids had fun and were hungry so we headed in to the Porter House. It was getting chilly so we went inside only to wait over 20 minutes to be even acknowledged with a... More

I have always found the food tasty here ,service quick and friendly and a great place to people watch on a sunny day. The menu is varied with veggie options and well priced. Also good here for a few drinks with live music outside at weekends, though does get busy there is a good friendly atmosphere. I have stayed the... More

We went in here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Have eaten here before and enjoyed the food but on this occasion we weren't as impressed. The food took nearly an hour to come out and as we had a 2 year old with us who was very impatient and not wanting to sit still for this length of time,... More

We were only at restaurant. It has nice location and lovely food. We ate fish which was really good. Sat outside but when inside to see it - looks like pub. Prices are normal and affordable. All in all - try and you will not feel sorry!

Poor selection of food on the menu. What we did order was ok, though we waited longer than expected to be served. Didn't find the staff to be particularly welcoming and even though the place was empty when we were there we felt quite rushed.

Saturday afternoon only one place to go. The beer menu is literally endless and here is a new Irish beer dowds lane a cider on draft stunning. A few scoops with waitress service so you don't miss the football or rugby. Recommend the hot pepperoni pizza to help wash it down. Plenty of other local beers from porter house themselves... More
