Detailed Reviews
What a find this place was! As two couples each with a toddler boy we booked both of the landpods and it was perfect for us. A safe and enclosed site in the most beautiful location. This is definitely GLAMping, not camping as there's a lovely shower and toilet and a pretty horse trailer converted into a gorgeous little kitchen with a hob and kettle. However, the best thing about this site is the animals. Our boys had the opportunity to walk pygmy goats, groom ponies and they absolutely LOVED collecting eggs from the hens that had a coop near to the pods. There was even a bonus ride on a John Deere at the end! The owners, Jayne and Paul were very friendly and welcoming and clearly wanted us to have a brilliant time. We have immediately booked to return as this place is magical. Brilliant family holiday!

Goxhill Meadows is a little bit of heaven in God’s own country. Jayne, Paul and Rosie are the perfect hosts, and being able to get up close and personal with the animals was fantastic. The pods are cosy and comfy, and hi-tec (you can charge your phone!!) and each one has its own outside table and fire pit so you can sit out, and cook over the fire, even if it’s a bit chilly in the evening. Cute horse box kitchen, with everything you might need, and a separate funky loo and shower pod. Views are amazing and so peaceful and quiet. We were there as a couple but it's perfect for families as its away from any roads and the kids can just roam around in the fields. It’s also a great way for children to learn about looking after animals and Jayne (ex- primary teacher) supervises everything if your kids are a little bit nervous. There is a chicken run in the same field as the pods so you can collect your fresh eggs in the morning. The surrounding countryside is perfect for cycling and walking. All in all a great place to spend a few nights getting away from it all. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Goxhill Meadows. It’s far enough away from anywhere to feel like you are in the middle of the countryside but only a few minutes drive to a Supermarket and about a 5 min drive into the centre of town and the beach. There are only 3 pods on site so it’s very quiet and doesn’t feel crowded at all. The pods themselves are comfortable and quite spacious. Our children had a wonderful time exploring the site and seeing all the animals. It’s perfectly situated with lots of places to explore nearby. The hosts, Jayne and Paul are really helpful without being intrusive. We will definitely be returning.

What a wonderful weekend away glamping in an eco friendly landpod site in East Yorkshire. A true gem of a place that we cannot wait to return to. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We experienced the most amazing animal experiences which our little girl will treasure, the local area and the walks, the pizza making night which was 10/10 such a lovely evening which we would highly recommend, the prettiest sunrises/sunsets, stargazing and toasted marshmellows around the firepit, to name a few, a truely relaxing and peaceful getaway from city life.
The landpods are very quirky and so comfortable with plenty of space.
The horse box kitchen is brilliant and has everything you require for your stay.
The eco toilet/shower has the warmest shower ever!! Top marks!!
The site was spotless throughout our stay, no issues at all.
The Goxhill Meadows breakfast box was a hit also very yummy full of local produce.
Such a beautiful place and we would highly recommend it to anyone.
A magical place, so much so our little girl had tears upon leaving as she didn't want to leave!
Overall a fantastic weekend away.
Thank you so much to the kindest and friendliest hosts Jayne, Paul and Rosie, See you soon xx

Goxhill Meadows really is a magical place to relax & escape from the world. We stayed as a family of 5, in the landpod, a cosy place to nestle down on an evening, but still plenty of room for us all to have a good nights sleep (even in strong winds!) Our 3 children loved exploring around the farm & in the woods (building dens was a firm favourite). They especially adored spending time with the animals, walking the goats & ponies, then grooming them back at the stable. Goxhill Meadows is their new happy place, & they keep asking when we can visit again, (I will be making another booking for next springtime.) Jayne, Paul and Rosie are exceptional hosts & made us feel very welcome. My highlight was sitting round the campfire, cooking our breakfast (from our gorgeous breakfast box, available to buy, full of local produce.) A great place to have adventures & then chill out round the fire in such beautiful countryside, thank you Goxhill Meadows for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

We have just returned from our second stay at Goxhill Meadows and loved it just as much as returning guests.
The site is so peaceful and relaxing- you really do feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. The pods are comfortable and clean and the kitchen and showers pods make your outdoors experience still have all the home comforts you need.
For us, the animals are the things that make our stay. It’s not every day you get to camp next alpacas, collect eggs from chickens and take a pony for a walk! It is just so special seeing the excitement the children feel getting to do these amazing activities.
Jayne and Paul are wonderful hosts who make you feel very at home and well looked after! We are already talking about our next stay!

Absolutely fantastic stay at Goxhill Meadows, home away from home with a better view. The owner’s attention to detail is fantastic with the little touches in the kitchen and landpod making it homely and friendly. I definitely recommend the breakfast box, worth every penny. The weather wasn’t in our favour but the landpod was warm and cosy despite the rain - much better than camping in a tent! It’s perfect for families or couples with a variety of local and on site activities. We will definitely be back!

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Goxhill Meadows. The site is completely tucked away and you are surrounded by fields and breathtaking views. I visited with two other families meaning we had exclusive use of the site with was fantastic. The pods were cosy and comfortable, we had a great couple of nights sleep in them. The kitchen box is very well equipped with all the things you will need to make your stay like a home from home. The field the pods are in is completely enclosed which with 5 children between the ages of 2-5 meant the adults could relax and let the play without worrying they could get lost.
The hosts Jayne and Paul were so welcoming and always on hand to help. There were so many little touches that made the weekend extra special…..cosy blankets for sitting out on a night, activity boxes in the pods which were perfect for the kids. The one thing my children certainly will not forget is getting to be so close to so many animals….helping feed the animals and collecting eggs to cook for breakfast from the chickens was so amazing. We definitely plan to return!

What a lovely place Goxhill Meadows farm is. After 2.5 hours in the car with 3 kids, we arrived (slightly stressed) to a friendly welcome and a relaxed site. Jayne showed us around and introduced the animals and the Pygmy goats became a quick favourite especially the little one that screams before meal time… the kids checked for eggs and played in the woods. Once another family came on with kids that was them gone for hours playing manhunt together. It’s a large safe space with lots to enjoy. Little touches like marshmallows to toast and popcorn to cook were just lovely. We adjusted to the eco toilets and they were clean and looked after and the kitchen is super handy.
Can’t praise the place and ppl highly enough so we’re planning our next visit instead!
