The staff was very helpful but the bed was not comfortable. There was a big indoor swimming pool. Families with children used that feature a lot. The food in the hotel was very good and well presented. We walked down town(easy) the walk back ( up hill) one time was enough for us senior citizens!! The next day we walked...

We stayed here for a week in one of the apartment units. Glad to have the extra room as well as a kitchen to make breakfast.. we used this place as a base and made day trips. We had a car so it made travel easy. The airport bus came several time per day, but without a car you not...

I've just been to Dublin and had the pleasure to stay at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. It was a short stay but a pleasurable one - the staff was kind and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the surrounding gardens extremely relaxing. Just sorry of being unable to take advantage of such a cozy environment.

We were on the 5th floor and the rooms were good. No view but nice bathroom with a narrow tub. The toilet paper there was not of the quality of this hotel but I did tell the management about this. Wonderful lobby with high tea on Sunday. We ate at the restaurant in the Dungeon one night, somewhat pricey but...

Just as I imagined a castle would be ! Very ye olde worldly in a modern way ! We had a beautiful room with two huge double beds and a comfortable sitting area. The only drawback was that we looked out onto an uninteresting courtyard rather than a view over the beautiful grounds surrounding the castle. The staff were cheerful...

We landed in Dublin and stayed here as part of a B&B package. This was the only 'hotel' we stayed at, the rest were all home-type B&B's. Rooms were a bit dated but clean. Rooms at the front of the hotel had a balcony from which there was a beautiful view of the Irish Sea. It is an easy 15...

Comfortable rooms. I was impressed with how soft the towels and bed linens were. We had a great view from our room too. The complementary breakfast had many options and was decent quality for a hotel buffett breakfast. The staff and wait staff was friendly and helpful. Hannah at the front desk was very helpful giving us information on how...

I was given a key-card for room 102 during my stay here last week. Whilst in the old part of the hotel, I had no issue with taking my bags up the stairs and accept that this is an old premises. However room 102 is hidden around the corner at the top of the stairs, as if it used to...

The hotel is quite a ways from downtown Dublin down in Dalkey. A quick walk to the dart or a taxi ride will get you to Dublin. The pictures did not reflect the present state of the hotel. The hotel does appear a bit dated and wasn't quite what we expected when we imagined castle hotel. The staff was friendly,...
