Very friendly Hotel with excellent service. If you are looking for a hotel with character you could do no better than the Castle. It's not 5 star but it's clean tidy and very comfortable. If you you have walking disability I would advise informing when booking as the building is old with uneven corridors. The breakfast is good but the...

Anyone visiting from abroad might be put off by staying at this hotel because it isn't in the City Centre. Don't be. The DART station is a short walk away and gets you straight into the City in minutes. Dalkey and the surroundings are also very beautiful and worth a trip in them selves. Apparently Bono lives close bye so...

It is serviceable, has character and you can trot it out for a variety of events, but tight and a bit frayed. There are some interesting venues in the main bar and the Dungeon restaurant, where the menu may not be dynamic, but the food quality is good. The highlight was staff/service, always helpful and cheery. Rooms are small both...

Stayed here for a recent Saturday night.Comfy clean airy rooms even though we were at the rear. Attnded a family function and we were hugely impressed by the service. The staff here are well trained and it shows. Dinner was good with a choice of smoked duck or salmon; both excellent. Main course was a choice of sirloin steak, rib...

We bought a 10-day package last year including 5 different hotels all around Ireland and car rental. This was our first stop. After a day-trip in Dublin, we drove here in about half an hour if I remember correctly. This place is not difficult to find on GPS or Google Maps. Once get in the gate, there are plenty parking...

We go to Fitzpatrick castle nearly easter week as a family and I never tire of it. Charming decor, great food, great service and great facilities. The only gripe some may have is that the decor is a tad old in some parts of the hotel but this simply adds to the charm in my opinion. The hotel is in...

The hotel is older, charming and lovely. We stayed on Easter Weekend so it was brimming with families and fun-lovers. We were able to rest after a long flight and the staff made our stay pleasant, and were so helpful when we asked a million questions. The area is wonderful and great to explore. The grounds are lovely and this...
