The Rodeway Inn is a beautiful property located along the scenic Saint John River Valley. Ideally located close to downtown Grand Falls and its majestic falls and gorge. The property is only 5km from Grand Falls Golf Club and New Brunswick's hidden gem. Restaurant and lounge Pres du Lac is on premises.

The Rodeway Inn in Grand Falls was an affordable destination compared with hotels in Edmundston travelling from Halifax. We were in a drive up unit attached to the lobby/pool building with convenient 2 entrances- one to outside and one into the hotel. It was all a bit tired looking, particularly the hallways, but the room was fine with quiet AC. The breakfast was pretty good (waffle maker, eggs, sausages as well as usual continental options) and the breakfast room was very spacious. The inside pool was pretty small, a little disappointing- needs updating.

The design of this Inn is very interesting. There are two stories, and the street level rooms have access into the room from 2 sides. One is from outside like a typical motel where you park your car at the door, and the other opens to the inside of the main interior hallway. This allows you to get to reception/dining room etc. without going outside.
The rooms are dated but well kept. They were cleaned nicely. Our single "king bed" was very comfortable and had a row of neatly of pillows nicely arranged at the headboard, adding a trendy touch.
It seemed the Rodeway Inn was quite busy with crews of local workers so the 5 am breakfast start probably catered to their early morning starts which was nice to see the Inn do that.
The hotel price includs a hot buffet style breakfast with a "make your own waffle" cooking machine, juices, yogurts, cereal choices, tea, coffee, muffins, fruit, and various breads for toasting. Thereis no excuse for anyone to walk away from breakfast feeling hungry. We both enjoyed it.
The staff we met were all very nice , adding to the comfort of our stay.
Thank you Rodeway Inn staff for making our short overnight stay pleasant.

The friendly staff were a huge bonus to this place. we couldn’t get a room with 2 beds, so they gave us one of the cottages. They were rustic, and didn’t feel very clean. the windows and porch were noticeably dirty… 5e room was cramped, with 2 double beds barely fitting, and you could barely turn around in the bathroom, the pillows were very old and lumpy.. There was only one small piece of soap for both the sink and shower. The breakfast was terrific, the best of any budget hotel, scrambled eggs, made from scratch, bacon, sausage, good yogurt, that made up for the room. this would be a good place to stop with kids I think as they had a pool and a little playground and a pond with ducks,

I already wrote a review. But I'll say it again. The Breakfast STAFF was awesome! Best Breakfast Ever!!! It was above expectations for the Rodeway Inn. Again, a very special nostalgic feel to the place. A little dated, rundown and in need of some TLC, but what a WONDERFUL place. You can just feel in its glory days, it was spectacular, like if your parents spent a week there, you might fall in love for the first time, with that special meet, who resides in the cabin down there with their parents LOL. It feels like that kinda place, where special moments happen. Would I go back...Without hesitation! I loved the Rodeway Inn, loved it. Our room was clean (rugs, didn't like the rugs in the room). Loved that we could go out one door into the Inn hallways, or another door and the other end of room, which led outside to a little sidewalk area with seating lol with your car parked in front of your room. LOVED IT. Other than really not liking the rugs in the room, everything about the Rodeway Inn to me, felt magical. Yeah it's run down, they need a new basketball net, and a net for the over-grown tennis court, but oh it could be so, so beautiful. If I was a Gazillionaire, I'd buy the place and fix it up and bring it back to it's glory. I now live abou 1/2 hour away, I would stay there now for a 'Stay-Cation' in a heartbeat.

To be honest this hotel was not originally my first choice. It is an older property (Pres Du Lac Hotel) that I remember from when I was a kid, but there are many chain hotels along the highway now that are newer and fancier. But, pricing for a lot of these newer hotels has gotten completely outrageous in summer 2022 - $250-300 for one night. I found the Rodeway Inn on Choice app for literally half the price of the newer competition in Grand Falls and Edmundston. The photos and reviews looked good so I figured I’d try it out and am glad I did! This was a 1 night stay with 2 adults and a 1 year old, we had a king size room in the main building facing the pond. The property has a large building that is a mix between a hotel and motel, the ground rooms have parking out front and a door to the outside like a motel, but also have a rear door into the hallway corridor like a hotel. Pretty neat. There are also cabins around the pond which looked nice but we didn’t have one.
The good/great: 1. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2. Extremely clean in the room. Good attention to detail. Bathroom was spotless. 3. Room is decently modern. Comfortable bed that feels similar to higher end hotels, clean white linens, lots of room for our portable crib. 4. Great for kids, lots of grassy area to run around, pond with ducks to watch/feed, play structure, swings, and a sandbox with toys. A nice change from newer hotels that are surrounded by parking lot on all sides. 5. Great breakfast included, buffet with full restaurant quality food, not the usual mediocre hotel offering. Dining room is huge so no worries about crowding even though the hotel was fully booked the night I stayed. 6. Near Grand Falls which is a beautiful town, worth checking out the falls and the Broadway St area if you have time. 7. About 60 seconds from the highway. Not far from Irving restaurant and gas station. 8. GREAT VALUE.
What I would improve: 1. AC unit in room is older and noisy. Could use an update. 2. Bathroom has some signs of wear and tear (cracked tiles, caulking needing replacement). Perfectly clean and usable though.
Overall a great experience and I will stay here again if they keep the pricing reasonable.

My husbad and I stopped at the Hotel on our trip homae from Nova Scotia to Ontario. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 35 years. First at Auberg Pres Du Lac, then Best Western Pre du Lac, then Travelodge Pres Du Lac and most recently Rodeway Inn Pres du Lac. The hotel is clean. The diningroom is virtually a buffet breakfast room serving a hot (?) Breakfast from 5 to 9 am. Certainly not catering to tourists possibly contract crews that seemed to be the primary residents. I feel that each name change has been a step downward and sadly we won't be back.

An excellent motel with recently renovated rooms. A massive bedroom and bed, with actual carpet on the floor! Good shower too. Parking right outside and a decent hot breakfast was included and for once the coffee tasted of coffee. Superb value for money.

We stayed at this establishment on our trip. We asked for and were given a ground floor room because we had heavy suitcases. The room rate was outrageous (most hotels were extremely expensive due to the season, I suppose) We were awake till late and wakened early by a family above us who had small kids that thumped and banged so hard it shook the lights. Front desk wouldn't go and ask them to quiet down. The room itself was old and worn. Mould around the wall AC was awful. The bathroom was mouldy as well to the point, we didn't use the shower. All in all, we should have checked our rooms especially in these Covid times. Our bad. Never again!

My husband and I stayed one night. We were on lower floor so was able to pull right up to the door of our room. If you get the non-pool side, it's a nice quiet field view. I prefer it to the pool side.
Nice pool and hot tub indoors. Also an outside pool but we didn't use that one.
The beds were a little stiff but not enough to be uncomfortable. A little outdated but very clean.
The breakfast is included and it's a treat! Buffet style with eggs, bacon ,sausages, hasbrowns, make it yourself waffles, toast, bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt..... absolutely anything you could possibly want. A really nice job.
Check-in was easy , friendly and efficient.
