Five of us stayed in the loft (a double bed, two single beds, and an additional cot was pulled out for us) in June 2015. The place was quite quiet despite being right next to major streets in downtown Grand Falls. It was within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants to choose from as well as quite a few hair dressers. Lots of choice! The falls are a 10 minute walk away, and there are nice trails around the area. The loft was comfortable. It was not as fancy as the other rooms available for parties with fewer people on the floor below. The ceiling in the loft was very low in some places so taller people would need to be quite careful if staying in the loft. The inside stairs to get up to the loft are very steep and not advised for people who have difficulty with mobility, but the outside stairs to the loft are fine. The toilet is in a small separate room, and the shower and sink are in the same room as the beds. However, we got permission to use the bathroom downstairs (usually reserved for the other rooms) and it was much bigger and extremely nice. The shower was very good; it had consistent temperature and good pressure. The homemade breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area on the ground floor. It was delicious. We enjoyed freshly prepared blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, a fresh fruit salad, tea biscuits, muffins, and more. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again in the future. Our host, Rachel, was so friendly and accommodating. We felt like we were visiting family!

What a delightful B&B in the small township of Grand Falls, at the Maple Tourist Home. Our hosts were Jean & Jerry, a wonderful couple who have owned and operated the B&B for 11years. The building is a large multiple story home with a very welcoming entrance way. We were met and introduced to Jean & Jerry on arrival, and showed to the top of the house to the very special ????? Loft which suited us perfectly. The loft had a double bed, two single beds, a enclosed toilet, a shower & sink craftily built in the middle of the room, plus other furnishings to make the space comfortable. It should be noted that this is indeed a loft in an a-frame type house, so the walls are slanted but the way it was built it feels very open and useable. Not to forget the small deck with chairs that leads out the backside of the loft, as well as a private outdoor staircase that leads up from the ground level. Breakfast itself was great with tea/coffee, fruit, beautiful pancakes, ham, and biscuits (or scones depending on we're you are from). What's better is the amazing home atmosphere that Jean and Jerry create, as they are both so interested and intrigued by their guests& encouraging dinner conversation with other guests. We know we won't be back to Grand Falls for a while, but if we did we would surely stay here! Highly recommended for other travellers alike.

I stayed in the Romeo & Juliet room for one night. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The room came with A/C and ceiling fan. There was a small balcony with a small table and two chairs. The morning breakfast was excellent with home made scones, biscuits, blueberry muffins and jams. We had choice of eggs, home fries, sausages and sliced bread or cereal with ample coffee and orange juice. The owner of the B&B, Rachel, was a wonderful hostess. The B&B is at the end of the main street and within easy walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and stores. I would recommend this B&B for anyone intending to stay in the Grand Falls area.

Rachel is a very pleasant hostess. The Romeo & Juliet room is quite small with access to a patio large enough for a small table & 2 chairs. The Lilac room is large with the bathroom kitty-corner across the hall. The 3rd room is large also & has an en-suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great & the rooms have A/C (which we were to discover is not all that common in New Brunswick). The B&B is within easy walking distance of town. All rooms are upstairs so are not handicap accessible.

We booked two rooms for 4 people. The room on the second floor with two double beds and the loft upstairs. Both rooms were very clean and had an airconditioner. The loft had nice balcony. Breakfast was very good too. The best warm biscuits I ever had, fruits, coffee, cheese, fresh muffins, jam and we also were offered blueberry pancakes and sausages, but it was too much, so we opted out. It's 10 minutes walk from the falls. We were very pleased with our stay.

Wonderful innkeeper! Rachel is so welcoming and helpful. As soon as we arrived, she arranged for a river cruise for us - the last one of the day! We had the Romeo and Juliet room which was small but cozy - but the private balcony extended the room. Perfect for having cocktails! Exceptionally clean, full of amenities (robes, AC, loads of towels, good lighting, etc). Great location! One block from the main street so walking to dinner was easy. Breakfast was plentiful - cereal, juice, pancakes, ham, cheese, blueberry muffins!! We left feeling like a friend to Rachel. Can't ask for more than that! Unfortunately, there was no water coming over the falls - so that was disappointing. Rachel said that May is a better time for the falls, after the winter melt!! May go back in May!!

Very friendly, accommodating and informative about the town, yet not hovering. Very clean. Offered tea and coffee. Felt welcoming and easy going.
My room (Romeo and Juliet) had a sunny balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
Breakfast was excellent consisting of juice, fresh fruit cup, yogurt, freshly made muffins and biscuits, cheese, never ending brewed coffee and tea, French toast and ham.

We found this B&B on Booking.com and as usual were very pleased with what we got. The hostess was very pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was very good. It was raining and the parking was convenient right at the front door which had an awning to walk out under. We ate a nice meal at Le Grand Saut Restorante which was only a few blocks away and we enjoyed seeing the falls before leaving the next day. This was a great place to stay on our way from Quebec City to Fundy National Park.

Rachel has 4 accommodations, each one elegantly appointed. She is friendly and easy going and made a great breakfast. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliette room which had a great tub and shower separate from the wc. All in all this was a fine place to stay.

We found this B&B through the information center in Grand Falls. A pretty home, very clean and welcoming. We parked in the police parking lot right across the street - felt very safe! And could see our car from our bedroom window. Three rooms to choose from; we picked the smaller one, with a large attached bathroom. The owner Rachel was friendly and very accomodating. We paid in US dollars, and even though the exchange rate throughout Canada was favorable for us, it was not a big deal to simply ignore it. So we were pleasantly surprized when she returned with change to offset the rate. One more thing - I realized several days later that I had left my jacket there. I emailed her and she sent it to my home right away. So our experience there was definitely a very good one.
