Detailed Reviews
We had a powered site at this resort. The owners were exceptionally helpful with everything. They provided information on locations and stores around, the good fishing spots, and especially the trails (cause we're not from around here). They're are over 250 square miles of trails around! Everyone from easy riding to mudding to the more extreme stuff.
The only drawback are no FULL hookups (coming very soon though!) . The sewer dump is easy to get to and the water fill location is also very close so that easily makes up for that. There is WiFi and cell service right at your campsite (for those who want that).
Our quad had a problem that was not fixable without parts on the first day. To help us out, they let us rent a quad at a bit of a discount because of the amount we were planning to ride and our second unit was dead. They didn't have to do that, but they did. And thank you so much! Did we ever appreciate it.
The firewood is plentiful and at a VERY good price.
Peaceful, back country camping with the amenities of a powered campground. The stars at night are incredibly amazing to see due to how far out we were and rarely have I seen them so clear. It was quite impressive I must say.
I would recommend this place to anyone for camping, riding, and fishing. We are still exploring the fishing, but there are so many locations to fish around here is hard to know where to start. 😊
Plus the history of this location goes back to the 50's. There are places close by where you can walk off into the woods and still see the remains of old cabins, still standing fireplaces, and other ruins. Pretty cool.
Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I can't speak to the cabins, but they look absolutely beautiful from the outside and the well kept grounds the are sitting on.
I can see this becoming a yearly destination for us! I have included a couple of shots of the family and the view from our site.

This was an amazing cabin and the perfect family getaway. The home was in a great location with breath-taking views of the lake, mountains and trees. The interior was styled with a great combination of modern and rustic. Everything was extremely clean and organized, you can tell a lot of time and thought has been put into this space. Would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway.

We spent the Canada Day long weekend at The Bears Den. From the moment we arrived we were thrilled to have stumbled upon such a fantastic place. It was our first visit to the Cariboo Region and it did not disappoint.
The Bears Den was home for 4 of us and there was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Every little detail in the home has been thoroughly thought out and so much attention to each item ensuring that guests feel at home for their stay. We had access to our own private dock which was perfect for our kayak and paddle board adventures around the lake. A family of Eagles and Hawks were incredible to share the lake with on our trip. We met Aaron and Benjamin who were accommodating and informative about the area. It goes without saying that our 3 nights were absolutely perfect (we even had one night with crystal clear skies and millions of stars, and a second with thunder and lighting storms-viewed from the safety of the living room, the perfect combination to experience it all!).
We’re already planning our next trip back to the Cariboo and can’t wait to share our stories with all our friends and family.

Our family of four recently stayed at the new Bear's Den Cabin at the Lucky Strike RV and Campground on Bridge Lake, BC. The cabin was beautifully appointed with everything you need - coffee, tea, salt, pepper and other spices. The beds were comfortable and we kept cozy with the wool blankets from France on the beds. Daniel and Aaron were prompt to respond with any questions. When we arrived, Aaron had set up the fire pit and placed chairs around it - all ready for us to enjoy! They even organized the use of a boat which was handy to explore Bridge Lake. We would definitely recommend the cabins and hope to be back one day!

Second year visiting, and not the type to usually do so...Such an inviting, receptive host to our fishing questions, and touching base to keep us comfortable with our stay. Stayed one night camping then glamped it in the on site clean RV with great view of the lake. Comes with a barbecue and fire pit.Nice to have a quick shower, heat if needed, kitchen. Looked down upon glampers til now. Bonus dog friendly. Also surprised to see so few people out here...if you want quiet nature experience this is it.

Lucky Strike was by far one of the best cabins we have rented. It fit 6 of us comfortably with our pup. Aaron was so responsive & helped us with anything we needed. We are already planning on coming back soon. Everything you needed was there, the lake was so close & the boys had tons of fun ice fishing. Even with the huge dump of snow we got it was easy to find and get up to it. Highly recommend staying here & can't wait to come back!

We stayed 4 nights in the Bears Den cabin and couldn’t have been happier. Daniel was very friendly and prompt when we were booking and Aaron was so helpful when we arrived. The cabin itself is beautiful, clean and well appointed.
The kids had a great time swimming off the dock right in front of the cabin and fishing from both the dock and the boat were very successful!
The Bears Den is a lovely little sanctuary nestled into the forest. Would highly recommend to anyone and we can’t wait to go back.

Our group of 4 loves to travel through BC, always searching for new lakes and landscapes to explore together. We were delighted when we came across these perfect cabins on Wilson Lake. We were even more in awe when we arrived! Everything about our cabin was immaculate. The view of Wilson Lake was stunning. We couldn’t believe all of the attention, care and generosity that were put into these cabins. Everyone loved the crib coffee table! The loft was so fun - we are a group of 30 year olds and we felt like little kids up there! We made a trip to Bridge Lake to walk the trail and swim in the lake - highly recommend! We also did a little drive out past Lac des Roches which had an incredible lookout. Daniel, Aaron and Benjamin made our stay extra perfect and we are already dreaming of our next visit. Their communication and generosity was greatly appreciated. We decided on day one that Lucky Strike cabins would be a tradition - the only thing we’d do differently for our next visit is stay longer! Thank you so much for the perfect getaway from the city! See you next time.

Generally, when you think of a cabin in the woods, you don’t think of comfort, these cabins overlooking the water are absolutely amazing. They are outfitted with barbecues, propane, fire pits, there’s heat hot water, flushing toilets, and some really comfortable spots to sleep not to mention the king size bed… me and 17 of my friends rented all three cabins, we had such a wonderful time!! I highly recommend coming and checking out the lake, there’s beautiful little trout, great place to kayak, paddleboard, you can snowmobile or a quad rate from the door!! if you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend you do.. they are secluded.. and absolutely amazing!!

Daniel’s cabins are legit! Gorgeous setting, immaculate cabins with every detail perfect! Very comfortable beds, complete kitchen, gorgeous view from the balcony. Lake was thawing, so we could not venture out on it. Likely to stay this way for a while. Saw wolf tracks! Amazing! Groceries only a twenty minute drive away. Road in was very challenging; must have a 4 x 4 due to extreme mud, snow and slippery sections. Highly recommend!
