I have stayed at Rathmullan House about twice each year for a number of years and I feel I should have written a review before now ! Why not ? Because ridiculous as it may seem - words fail me in describing how I feel about the place, I usually stay in early summer or autumn and the past two...

We booked 4 Superior rooms for 3 days over New Year from 31st Dec 2016 for eight of us. We had New Year’s Eve dinner and enjoyed it so much we “ate in” every night of our stay. Rathmullan House is beautifully set in its own grounds close to the beach on Lough Swilly just north of the town on...

Dear Linda, It is always lovely to read a positive review about Rathmullan House but when it comes from a long time visitor such as you it is even more gratifying. We had such a wonderful time with our guests over the Christmas and New Year period and the mood in the house really felt positive. I am delighted that...

Superior room was well worth it. Beautiful room overlooking the gardens. Bathroom was huge with free standing bath. We travelled in early november and the rooms and hotel were warm and welcoming. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Dining room was a little quiet except for a few children. Cheeseboard was superb for sharing instead of dessert. Second...

We stayed at Rathmullan House well over a year ago during springtime. We liked it then and were looking forward to a couple of nights at the hotel during freezing cold November. This was a mid week stay and the hotel was very quiet on our first night, with just a few other residents. We were immediately impressed by the...

Dear Guest, A sincere thank you for taking the time to write such a glowing and detailed review of your recent stay with us. The Wednesday night on which you arrived was actually our quietest night of the year so I am delighted to hear that you were impressed with your welcome. The open fires in the winter are what...

Fantastic stay. Lovely spacious and clean room. Beat pizza in Ireland. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Really relaxing atmosphere and friendly but not obtrusive staff. Wonderful beaches nearby and Fanad lighthouse well worth a visit. Try the Kinnegar beer. Worth treating yourself.

Dear Mark, Many thanks for taking the time to write such a fantastic review. We might get in a bit of trouble if we claimed our pizza to be the best in Ireland but we gladly accept the praise when it comes from a guest! Your comments on the staff, breakfast, dinner and bedroom are all a pleasure for us...
