The best of both worlds: a wonderful thatched cottage with all modern comforts. And the view is amazing too! When we visited it was quite cold but the peat stove kept the place nice and warm (it was our first experience of the smell of burning peat; not everyone will like it: our family of 4 were 2 for, 2...

My wife and I loved this little cottage in Donegal. We were a little unsure about whether we'd find the country lane where it's located as there is no street address for the GPS, however the directions given were quite adequate. There's a nice sense of style about the comfy furnishings and the contrast between the rustic cottage and the...

We stayed at Teach Ceann Tui Sept. 26-27. I would highly recommend it! The thatched cottage was cozy and charming. The furniture was comfortable and the bed in the cottage was fabulous. We didn't require the use of the second bedroom, but it looked nice though a little small. The private bath is off of the entry vestibule and has...

My wife and I stayed in the cottage from September 19-21. The cottage is a wonderful place to stay and it is something truly authentic to stay in a structure that is that old. If you are looking for old & comfortable this is the place for you. Interior is modern but well-loved. And for Americans... The bed is a...

We stayed a couple of nights in this cosy cottage and really enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was just our cup of tea and we enjoyed a couple of days cycling in the area. Our hosts got the balance of welcoming and friendly but not intrusive just right. It was close enough to Ardara for us to cycle there for our...

We stayed at Teach Ceann Tui for a night and loved it! We liked that the B and B is a real historical thatched cottage that also has modern comforts. It was a good mix of new and old. The cottage is attached to the owners house and there is small, but clean, modern bathroom for guests at the end...

My wife and I recently spent a single night at the cottage. Our only regret was that there were not additional nights available. This place is fantastic! It's so warm and friendly and with a peat fire burning in the fireplace, sinking into the comfy sofa, you can close your eyes and feel perfect relaxation. Our hosts were very friendly...

We were very comfortable in the cottage and loved the views from the bedroom and living room. As other reviewers have said, it's great to have some room to spread out. The smaller bedroom is a little cramped, but our daughter didn't seem to mind. The traditional Irish breakfast was very tasty, and Paul was very friendly and helpful. The...

This was such a welcoming and nice place to stay. It felt like home and how we pictured our trip to ireland would be. The trip to the caves (highly recommended) was quick and lots of fun and the peat fire a blast.

Teach Ceann Tui is a lovely, comfortable cottage, beautifully restored in traditional style with the added benefit of modern conveniences. We visited during rainy August so we really enjoyed the stoves in both the sitting room and bedroom which made the place so warm and cozy. Paul and Samantha are wonderful hosts, catering for all needs. We really appreciated the...
