After flying all night from Canada then driving 2 1/2 hours from Dublin, it was such a treat to arrive at John and Trish's Glenrowan B&B and to be warmly welcomed into their home! Their place is spotless, spacious and well appointed. After spending three days with them, they felt like long-time friends. Nothing was a bother for them and... More

John and Tricia made us feel that we were truly one of their family whist we stayed with them. A very comfortable guesthouse with a breakfast that any Irishman would have been proud of, particularly the Whiskey Marmalade. Great knowledge about the local area as well.

We stayed one night at Glenrowan's on our family round trip of Ireland. It was a really good choice. Our room for three was very nice and so was the house. The location was logistically perfect for our needs and very peaceful despite the vicinity of the main road. The landlords were extremely nice and helpful, Tricia was in charge... More

Stayed here on business recently and found it very clean, modern and really nice owners( John & Trish ) rooms comfortable and spotless. The big downfall is the distance to travel for something to eat or a pint, 10 klms , not nearby as advertised on the web site so add taxi fares.

Stayed here for 1 night it was warm and comfy on a cold night. The views were amazing even though it was miserable but Johns warmth made up for the unseasonable weather conditions. We were greeted with a nice cuppa and a friendly face...the romms were spotless and beds very comfy. Will definitely visit again.

John and Tricia Wright are the finest B&B hosts that you would ever want to stay with! They fully open their home and hearts to their "company". We had been traveling most of the day and were exhausted when we arrived to their lovely (breathtaking views...) home. They immediately sat us down in their kitchen (not the breakfast room) and... My two brothers and I stayed for two days with John and Tricia Wright in their very comfortable B&B on the outskirts of Letterkenny. Our three rooms were large and attractively furnished. I couldn't tell whether I enjoyed more chatting with John and Tricia or just gazing over the valley below their B&B. The view was truly spectacular, including a... More

My partner and I stayed at the Glenrowan in August 2014 along with my 81 year old Mum, my sister and her partner and another sister with her three 14year old children. We were over visiting family in Letterkenny, Raphoe, Kerrykeel and Lifford. In addition to the ideal location the Glenrowan is a wonderful place to stay. All of our... More

My husband and I stayed at Glenrowan House for 2 nights in early April 2014 while on a road trip through Donegal. This B&B is located about 8K from Letterkenny just off the N15. We found this lodging to be most accomodating. Our main floor room was large enough to spread out nicely, the queen sized bed very comfortable, and... More

Glenrowan is a great place to stay. Trish and John made us really welcome in their lovely home. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished, we had a really comfy bed with spotlessly clean linen. The breakfasts were great - really set you up for a days travelling around the lovely countryside. Great place, great service and great... More
