Just home from a lovely restful stay at Barberstown. The setting is rural while still being just a short drive from Dublin. The rooms are spacious and very nicely appointed. We found all the staff we encountered to be professional and helpful. The food in the tea rooms was reasonably priced and very tasty. It's a pity that there isn't...

Barberstown Castle was not what I had originally expected. That isn't to say it isn't wonderful, it is. There is, in fact, a castle but It is the smallest castle I've ever seen. This castle was obviously built for protection. Over the years, wings were added to the original structure. It is less in size that a regular hotel but...

Stayed overnight attending wedding nearby. Nicest hotel i've visited. Lovely and helpful staff. Luxurious and beautiful rooms with comfy beds. Would recommend to anyone. Best value for money i've ever gotten in a hotel!

Beautiful grounds, friendly professional staff, and the Keep make this a wonderful experience. Rooms are spacious and elegant. Unlike other castle hotels, the 800 year old Keep is accessible to residents to view. Amazing. Ted, the owner, takes great pride in extending every courtesy to his guests. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety to choose from.

Great staff, lovely place. Rooms were really nice. Would definitely stay again. The food for the wedding was really nice and everything went well. We found it very relaxing. I loved all the old tapestry and character to the hotel.

Stayed here recently for an overnight break. We were impressed with how genuine the staff were, they were very professional and attentive. Dinner in the Barton rooms was delicious, full of flavour and well presented. Breakfast was very nice also, the buffet was small but in keeping with the beautiful room in which we were seated, so appropriate for the...

Father's Day and wedding anniversary lunch with our son, daughter in law and grandson. Menu a little limited perhaps but extremely good value. Service was excellent as was the food. No child's menu but small portions off normal menu offered. The gardens etc are just lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We loved that this was one of our stays! We spent the night at a different castle or B&B every night as we toured Ireland. This was one of our favorites. We had a wonderful welcome upon arriving. The grounds and rooms were beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast, both amazing! One of the staff took us into the old...

We are four ladies that have just returned from spending a very relaxing weekend at Barberstown Castle. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Also we noted the cleanliness of the hotel. We enjoyed a very fine meal in the yellow room, again very good service and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this hotel
