Delicious food and a lovely reception in old style decor. Kathleens bar is a great spot for a pint. Was also here for a Christmas party and the function room was really nice and the staff were efficient

I stayed here for 2 nights with my 2 girls. I booked a family room, the first which was room 260. The beds were pretty much broken, they were squeaky and had dips in the middle of the mattresses. The curtains had stains on them and were hanging off the rails. The sofa had also a massive stain on it....

On a tour and very impressed with this hotel. Luxurious accommodation and food and bar service was excellent. The lamb shanks served in the restaurant were very good. Stayed only one night but would stay again. Down the way was an interesting pub with in walking distance and also a woolen mill for shopping.

We stayed here on our last night of a 5 night trip to Ireland. The location is good with close proximity to Bunratty Folk Park and Shannon airport but the hotel itself is in poor condition. The lobby was presentable but our room was at best rundown. The drapes were shabby and not even hung straight. The carpet was worn...

We have eaten in Kathleens Bar on a few occassions now and the food is just fantastic. The Burger is the best I have ever eaten and the homemade onion rings are gorgeous. Great selection of Fish and meat dishes and also wraps / sandwiches etc. The mussles are also really good and the Prawns Pil Pil. If you are...

We were looking forward to staying here but can only hope the first impression takes a big leap forward. Having paid through an agent 7 months ago was put in a room not to the value paid for (executive king) was then told the place was fully booked but was then found a room that overlooked the garbage bin. Was...

A second visit to this hotel and could not fault it in any way . comfortable quiet room, tasty meal in Kathleen s bar and plentiful breakfast all at a reasonable price. It was a welcome treat to have air con in a hotel in Ireland which is usually exclusive to 5 star hotels here. Bunratty Castle Hotel ticked all...

Bunratty Castle Hotel was along our route as we explored Ireland. The hotel is gives you a sense of stepping back in time the minute you enter the lobby. Our room was generous in size, clean and nicely decorated. We were treated to an expansive Irish breakfast. Thank you staff.
