this is the most homey bnb with Frank and Sheila and their welcoming craic, delicious scones, - this is my home away from home. I can't say enough wonderful things about Ashgrove House. Cozy rooms, PLENTY of hot water, warm beds at night, a 15 min walk to the castle and Durty Nelly's - beautiful yard with the blooming flowers,...

Very Near Bunratty Castle and Durty Nelly's with fabulous hosts, greeted by Sheila with fresh baked scones and hot tea, clean and comfortable rooms...you can't miss as this County Claire B & B. The garden was beautiful with spring flowers blooming. Sheila is a world traveler with engrossing stories. This is a great place to stay in Bunratty.

Frank and Sheila treated us as though we were family. It is a warm and charming place. They always have room for you and have many contacts for additional spaces. The Irish coffee and warm scones are excellent and make you not want to leave.

Staying with Shiela at Ashgrove House is like being at a friend's house for a visit. Sheila greets guests as if they are old friends and has the manner of someone you have known forever. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast service is simply great, eggs cooked to order and all the proper Irish things one expects. It...

This was a great B&B located very close to Bunratty Castle and some great pubs. We only stayed here for a night since we were leaving the next day from Shannon airport. But Sheila and Frank were wonderful! We were greeted warmly and they recommended a place to eat. Sheila even arranged a cab for us at 6AM the next...

Ashgrove House is a wonderful homey B&B in Bunratty which is close enough to Shannon Airport to make it my place to stay before flying. Four of us stayed in three different rooms, each of which were tastefully decorated - beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. The next morning, a great breakfast was made even more special when...

Park House lived up to all the excellent reviews. Beautiful Rooms, friendly helpful staff, peace, tranquility and unexpectedly - beautiful weather. Beware of breakfast menu - we ordered Irish Breakfast and pancakes - failed to read at the bottom of the menu that pancakes were €10.00 extra and the staff member didn't point it wout when we ordered. Peeved me a...

We were welcomed to Bunratty and Ireland by Sheila's smile. She made sure we were comfortable and gave us tips on getting around and sites to see in the area. The accommodations were beautiful and breakfasts were wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights; very close to Bunratty - however, the greatest asset of this nice facility is Sheila - warm, funny, very bright and a bastion of Irish history. When my wife and I think back on our stay it is Sheila that stands out with such fond memories. Bob & Pati Gould
