I traveled to Ballybunion for an overnight and two rounds of golf. The 19th Lodge was a perfect place to stay. Mary and John were very welcoming and the accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was timely and delicious. The shower was very nice. It is walking distance to the golf course and we repeatedly saw the Lodge from Ballybunion New.

Mary and James were very welcoming hosts and accommodating every request. Breakfast was prompt and delicious. The location within walking distance to Ballybunion was excellent. I was travelling with a group of 8 playing golf and the location and service met our needs.

THE 19TH LODGE/ Visited September 2012 Mary & James's hospitality was top notch. We stayed in the 'Ian Woosnam' suite which overlooks the golf course. At The 19th Lodge you are treated like part of the family, lovely atmosphere throughout. To stay here is a First Class experience and an absolute treat. YOU MUST GO !!!! . Eillen & Paul

The 19th Lodge provides 5 star comfort in the small village of Ballybunion, together with Irish hospitality of the highest order. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, and there was loads of hot water to relax in our whirlpool bath after our exertions on the golf course! Our hosts, James and Mary, could not have been more helpful,...

All features of the hotel were high end, from the soft sheets to the luxurious furnishings in the dining room, sitting rooms, and bedrooms. I really recommend it for anyone who is...

located about 1/4 mile from ballybunion golf club...what a great experience. owners mary and james are the quintessential inn owners; incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering us rides in and out of town when cabs were not available. The home-cooked breakfast was the best I've had. The rooms are incredibly clean and the showers great. Only a short distance from...

My husband, our three kids and I stayed with James and Mary for only one night, but it was a highlight in our two week trip to Ireland. My husband is a big golfer and has long dreamed of playing Ballybunion Golf Course. He did (loved it), which left me and my three children to keep ourselves busy. James and...

I and my three sisters accompanied my 90 year old mother back to her birthplace in County Kerry. Having stayed with James and Mary on another occassion returning to their warmth and hospitality was such an easy choice. The attention and care they provided, made our stay wonderful. Indeed, we were not visitors, we were family. Mom was delighted as...
