Thanks to Mary and James for being wonderful hosts. Your place is lovely and our room was great. We were only there one night (Aug. 30) which was bad planning on our part. We were there for the golf (right across the road!) but, honestly, I would have been just as happy to hang out in your B& B, explore...

I stayed at the 19th Lodge in May, and it was just a wonderful experience. James and Mary (you're on a first name basis instantly) bent over backwards to make us comfortable. Mary has a natural ability to connect with people. Rooms and food were both top notch, and they were more than happy to have breakfast ready a bit...

James and Mary were born to be bed and breakfast hosts. . .they are two of the friendliest, most charming and informative people that we met in Ireland - and the Irish are a wonderful people overall! The reception we received here was beyond any words. Upon arrival, we did not have reservations, we decided to check with The 19th Lodge to see if there were any cancellations we could take advantage of. We were met at the front desk by Mary. She was the most genuine and caring individual I have ever met. This came across...

We spent the night here after a day of golf at Ballybunion. Our room was a suite and so comfortable. A hot breakfast and we continued our trip. The couple running the lodge is so warm and friendly. Very nice!

I recently stayed at the 19th Lodge on a long trip to Ireland that included castle hotel stays and multiple "4 star" hotels. Our room at the 19th Lodge was the cleanest room we stayed in. You can clearly see the attention to detail and the effort that Mary puts in to keep the hotel clean. Both Mary and James...
