We had a very nice stay at Forest Lodge, Jean was very friendly and accommodating. Her breakfasts were absolutely the best in Ireland, as was her coffee! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay from her front yard; this was very restful. Walking on the edge of the bay (at low tide) was a wonderful exploration! There is a...

Great location and Jean is indeed, a very nice host and very accommodating with all requests. Wifi was comparably good. However, the room and facilities were just not in line with what we have gotten anywhere else in Ireland for the money. The furniture looked worn out, the room was very small for the price and especially discomforting was one...

My husband and I spent two glorious days at Forest Lodge. Jean is a fantastic hostess and the location could not be more peaceful. Lovely, short walk into town or right onto the sands from their front door. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Jean!

After our disappointment in Dungloe we were so happy with Dunfanaghy in general and Forest Lodge in particular. The owner, Jean, is very friendly and the house is cosy and comfortable with a nice lounge and a warm atmosphere. The location is beautiful and close to stunning Holme Head. Chairs and a table in the garden were a welcome touch...

We went to this wonderful bed and breakfast in September 2013 and were absolutely amazed. It is wonderfully decorated, the landlady and her family (if around) are wonderful and sweet persons, the breakfast, usually a really tasty full irish breakfast is as yummy as it is stuffing and its location, even though it is a little bit far from the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Forest Lodge. Jean was warm and welcoming, breakfasts were yummy (with music playing softly), and the room oh-so-comfy. There was lots of room for parking and the B & B is within walking distance of town (if you're willing to walk 10-15 minutes). Her garden is lovely to sit in on good days, has...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed by the great location, overlooking the sea and with Horn Head drive and Tramore beach accessible just by stepping out the door. It's a short walk to Dunfanaghy and Marble Hill beach and Ards Forest Park are a short drive away. The room was very comfortable with a good ensuite,...

Myself, my parents and my sister stayed here for a night recently and really enjoyed our stay. Jane was very welcoming and chatty and even drove us into town that evening. The rooms were clean and warm and the breakfast was one of the best ive ever had, accompanied with soft irish music in the background. I really loved the...

We stayed here for one night while touring the coast. Warm welcome from Jean. Clean, cosy room and excellent breakfast. Lovely views from the b&b of the sea and forest. We walked into the town - v pleasant 10 minute walk - which has shops and a few nice bars. Jean let us keep our car on her drive the...

Warm and welcoming hosts, with lots of helpful local information, very restful room, and breakfast served in a light filled dining/living area. We stayed there two nights in early June and loved every second of our stay. Magnificent Horn Head is an easy drive from this perfect home away from home. Jean and Jack are wonderful hosts, and we are...
