The service from phoning to booking was first class, you really had the feeling they wanted you, unlike some places!
The menu is not massive, but a very good selection and mains were priced as expected, it’s always the desserts that seem too expensive,
The food was presented well and very good, no disappointments.
The staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
The views are just stunning, looking to the downs and sea view on the horizon. I have driven that road many times and never released you could see the sea.
Tables well spaced, so not on top of each other.
We were meeting friends and there was no rushing us out, they checked if we needed anything.

Recommended by the place we were staying Was not at all disappointed Our meals were excellent Very pleasant efficient and friendly staff in a lovely setting. Well worth another visit where there is plenty of parking. In addition there is plenty of outside seating.

Perfect stay yet again. Lovely room with fantastic views and really comfy bed! Staff very friendly and welcoming… and as for the food. Great to have seasonal food, every time we come there is something new to try. The White Hart in Netherfield is our favourite place to escape to.

This pub is NOT the place to come if just passing by. We were a large family group of 14 that had been for a walk and looking forward to a nice drink and some lunch in the pub garden. We hadn’t booked as it was a last minute plan. The pub seemed very unhappy with our presence - they couldn’t serve us food at 1.30pm on a Saturday (fair enough, we were a large group), but even refused us a few bowls of chips for the hungry children. The staff were passive aggressive - refusing a legitimate driving licence as ID for the 18 year old in our group (with his parents and a number of older adults). Unfriendly and very disapponting.

What a wonderful pub! Everything from the view to the food was fantastic. If you are looking for a dog friendly pub with plenty of style then this place is great. Nice touch having dog treats behind the bar too. Would highly recommend.
