There were 40 odd of us there for a three day cycling tour using the Leenane Hotel as a base. The staff could not have been more attentive (especially Agatha & "Mum" - thank you) Food, accommodation, atmosphere/ambiance topped off with the best pints of Guinness that I have come across in a very, very long time - perfect. There...

The room we stayed in was very spacious and renovated. The view of the fjord was simply stunning from our window. The hotel on a whole had an air of yesteryear, like something that has traveled through time. All modern amenities were there, but the air for example of the sitting room in the lobby was something of an other...

A hotel with old world charm in a beautiful location. There are parts which some may feel need updating but I hope if they do they lose none of the sense of belonging that this place exudes with its history. Our room was very nice with a balcony looking out to the fjord. Lovely to gaze out on with a...

We stayed in this hotel for one night and were given a room with a balcony overlooking the fiord. The views were stunning. We ate dinner in the hotel - it was lovely and the room and dinner together were very reasonable. The sea weed baths were an added bonus. I enjoyed the steam room more than the seaweed bath...

Staff were really helpful and nice. Food was quite good. Rooms were clean, though mine was a bit small and had recently been painted. The view from the window more than made up for it - really stunning. You can lie in bed admiring it all day if you want! Beds were comfortable. There was a lovely large lounge with...

Our whole family came together here for an anniversary celebration and we booked out a good chunk of the upper floor! Reasonable pricing allowed such extravagance. The hotel was ideal for such an assembly with a huge lounge full of exciting furniture that toddlers could circumnavigate. I love the way that the original, elegant, features of the hotel have been...

I stayed here recently with my husband who had been before and has ranted and raved about how fantastic it is. He was a little worried that I wouldn't like his favourite hotel or I'd pick faults in it. Well he needn't have worried. This place is an absolute gem and a tonic for the soul. What I loved most...

We went to the Leeann Hotel for dinner due to our hotel's poor quality dinner the previous evening. This was a marked improvement, the starters we ok but the main courses were really good. Myself having the pork cheeks and ham hock, whilst my partner had the Monkfish with mussels. If staying around the Leenane area definitely try the hotel.

We stayed here on a Saturday night before the Connemara Half Marathon. We stayed in what looked like the older part of the hotel. The room was cozy with lovely antique furniture and a huge sash window looking out onto Killary harbours stunning views. The bathroom was basic, with all the essentials and was clean, as was the room, and...
