My wife and I just spent two nights at Gohar's Inn. We were treated royally. Large comfortable bedroom, clean, functioning bathroom. Lots of extras: kitchen, refrigerator, laundry washing machine, great breakfasts, graceful and helpful hostesses. Armine especially arranged taxis and advised us about the best places to go in this scenic and historical area. Beautiful and relaxing patio and garden area. Serene bit of heaven in contrast to the frenzy of the big city.

it is not easy to find Gohar's guest house. lucky for us, Gohar's daughter made sure we are not lost..
we got to Gohar's when they were fully booked, so they sent us to an apartment they have in the city center. it was very good, very clean and renovated. it was just what we needed, and we even got to do some laundry and cook for ourselves.
when we came to eat breakfast (which was very good and Generous) we got a tour of the guest house as the group that was there left already, and it looks very nice and comfy.

Nice and comfortable homestay where you feel like you are in home. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. The hosts are nice and helpfull. Homemade food is very tasty. It's a little bit difficult to find the hotel as there is no signs.

Gohar`s Guest House is located 1 km far from Yeghegnadzor city center. The street where the house is located called Spandaryan, it is near football stadium (ask anyone where the stadium is they will show you the direction). You will notice the Gohar`s Guest House immediately amongst its neighboring houses.

Friendly hosts –Gohar and her family will make your stay memorable. Gohar is a wonderful cook, She is also perfectly informed about all the interesting sights in Vayots Dzor region and always ready to help her guest to organize their tours in the region. If you are tired of hotels, restaurant food and want to feel at home away from your home, then this is the right place for you. Here you can feel real Armenian family warmth, eat delicious food, prepare Armenian barbeque by yourself, swim in open air pool and feel a part of the family.

Here 7 double or twin cozy and nice bedrooms are available with their private bathrooms.

Amenities available here at Gohar`s Guest House include:
24 hours hot/cold water
TV
Free WI FI
laundry
Open air pool
Languages spoken: Russian, English, Armenian
Price: 8.000 -10 000 AMD per person including breakfast

Loved my stay here. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome in excellent English. It is a little oasis, where you can sit by the pool in the sun or relax in the shade and read. We enjoyed a great meal with guests from other countries. Thank you:-)

There aren't many guesthouses that come with a private bathroom so it was a no brainer when we came across Gohar's good rating, reasonable price for a room with private bathroom, and its good location for exploring the region of Vayot Dzor. The room is clean and well furnished. The common areas which include a living room and kitchen for guests were much appreciated. There are also kettle and washing machine that guests are free to use. As always, what differentiates a great guesthouse from a good guesthouse is the people and the hosts are absolutely some of the most delightful people you will meet in Armenia. Breakfast is something you can look forward to everyday with a big spread of fruit, jam, bread, cheese, egg and sometimes additional meat like ham or meat patty. If you are planning to stay here, please absolutely request for their homemade dinner for you. At 5000amd, you'll be getting an 8-dish (salad, soup, meat, cheese, side dishes, compote, tea/coffee, fruit, bread) meal that will keep you talking about its deliciousness for days.

We stayed at Gohar's only briefly - between 2 days of hiking. It was refreshing and delightful. Gohar and her daughter welcomed us like family. We hung out in the kitchen chatting and helping with dinner preparation. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, fresh, healthy, and varied. And the company couldn't be beat. We wish there was a Gohar's everyplace we travel.

We stayed a few days at Gohar's Guest House and enjoyed it so much. The rooms are spacious and clean. We were the only guests, so it was very quiet. The mother of the family is cooking with love. This makes the dinner superb. It is the classic Armenian kitchen combined with an high class style. And like everywere in Armenian homes: the food is mostly from homegrown ingredients.
From here we made some excellent trips in the high mountains by 4x4. Specialy the Tsakhatskar church was the best. It is on an isolated location and hard to get to, plus great views.
We have had a wonderful time at Gohar's Guest House.

"If you are traveling with a group of friends the main rooms on the top floor are together with a kitchen for enjoying tea and sweets or vodka or wine, and a lovely view from the comfortable patio gathering area. The family also runs a local campground with hostel accommodations. If you are traveling as a couple wanting a bit more privacy the balcony room is located up a curved marble staircase to your own wonderful room with a view!"
