Lovely hotel in a lovely area. We stayed for one night while travelling on the nc500 route. This B and B was reasonably priced and perfectly positioned. Had a lovely room and a delicious breakfast the following morning. We also booked in for an evening meal which was delicious with huge portion sizes. Staff in the evening restaurant were brilliant.

Faultless from arrival and once we ate in restaurant it has to be questioned how this magnificent hotel is only 3stars,. Meals are top class in quantity, quality and value with the fish and chips being the best I've ever eaten. Actually queried the bill as seemed to cheap cut all correct, staff were attentive without bothering you. Room spotless and comfy and would recommend to anyone

We booked to stay here at this Hotel with our two dogs for 2 nights using the hotel restaurant for dinner both nights. The staff were very helpful, courteous and hospitable and welcoming to us especially Janet in the restaurant. The quality of the meals in the evening was excellent with a huge Full Scottish breakfast each morning. They made us feel very welcome indeed and even brought spare sausages yor our dogs to have for breakfast. Our room was clean and tidy. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and a million thanks. Stephen, Andy, Barley and Patsy

We were covering a big area of Scotland and had traveled Up from Dingwall and had B&B in Castletown, we asked the Landlady where we could eat and we’re recommended The Castletown Hotel, we booked a table and we walked to the Hotel. We were shown to the table along with the menu, there was a very good selection on the menu, my wife had salmon salad and I had chicken in batter, we had drinks and a dessert! Our evening was faultless the staff were good, the food was wonderful and we couldn’t believe how reasonably priced it all was. So without doubt this was one of the best eateries we have ever been too, I can certainly recommend The Castletown Hotel.
