Good value for money . Living Social offer. Food very good , room clean and comfortable ,staff welcoming very pleasant and efficient . From similar experiences believe a couple of taster wines ( main / desert) included in the price would have certainly improved the value .

We stayed at the Craven Heifer at the end of January in the Perry Green room. The room was lovely and clean and the dressing gowns and mince pies were a nice touch. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

I popped in for lunch while passing as the place looked appealing from the outside. I was welcomed with open arms and was made to feel at home right from the start. My drink was served to me straight away, no wait at the bar even though there was a few people in. The food was fantastic and above my...

On Sunday we visited this pub for a cosy lunch after a long walk. We sat at a table in the bar area and once we had received the menu it took around 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The service from there on was dreadful. We were served by the same blonde lady in normal dress (perhaps...

The special meal on Christmas Eve, celebratory and suited to two difficult diets was charmingly and promptly served. We were given time to enjoy the good variety of menu items between the three of us, while attention was very carefully paid to dairy free, wheat free and soya intolerances! Prior consultation with the pleasant Assistant Manager and Head Chef paid...

My wife and I, and 1 year old daughter ate here with friends during the Christmas period. The food was excellent, especially the lamb rump, and the service was very accommodating. My 1 year old is at that difficult eating stage and our waitress did everything we asked to help us out, I couldn't have asked for more. I will...

The food was excellent, the service could not be faulted and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly. We were part of a larger group and we all felt at home as soon as we walked into the Inn. It was a very good New Year's Eve party.

We stayed overnight at the Craven Heifer just before Christmas. The room was very comfortable and clean. The little mince pies and fudge that were left with the tea and coffee were very welcome. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay again. The perfect location for visiting the Dales.
