Located just outside the town centre, this place is a great choice offering a laid back vibe with comfortable rooms. The pool and the patio take in the rural views with the rooms facing out over the fields. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable but the fixtures and fittings were fairly basic and the linens need replacing. The host is very amiable and provides a basic breakfast of ham, cheese, bread, yogurt, juice and coffee.

Lovely place to stay, large pool and garden. We slept in the big house, two rooms and two bathrooms. Nice and clean, breakfast more than enough. Friendly Josefe is a proud portuguese. Not many restaurants around, 800 mtrs from 'centre'. Village is rather empty.

Lovely relaxing hotel. Very quiet, nice pool. The only problem was that it was very hot and there was no air conditioning. Also, the breakfast was very basic- just bread, jam and ham, and yoghurt. The orange juice was nice.

If you want peace and cozyness, this is it. The motto is "Every hour is breakfast hour" so you can sleep until late. Local milk, butter, jams and bread. If the owner Mr. Falcão decides to cook, you'll go nuts with his local delicacies. There's nothing much to do in non-pool season, but you're 1 hour away of marvellous beaches and costal towns like Vila Nova de Milfontes. All thye surroundings are naturaly preserved as you're in the middle of the Alentejo Southwest Natural Park.

A small place in Alentejo that is perfect for some days of total relaxation. The "TV area" is really cozy, the pool area in a perfect place to get a nice tan and go for a swim, the bedrooms are pretty good, and the owner of the space easily makes you feel at home. The price is quite appropriate for this kind of place and this type of tourism. The only thing that can scare you is the road to get there: dirt and some holes that make sure you're not going to have an easy ride (but I guess that's part of the experience).
