Came to Bwlchgwyn Farm to do a spot of pony trekking on the beach to give my german friends a taste of Wales. Loved every minute. Their horses are gorgeous - especially Jimmy Bluu- splashing in puddles:) Thanks for the fun xx

A group of us (7 adults and 1 toddler) booked three nights here over bank holiday weekend. We were put in a 'spare' field which was only really suitable for livestock! There was only 1 toilet and 1 shower available for all the residents of the campsite (approximately 40 people!) The shower worked fine as long as no-one was using...

Hi Sarah, sorry that you were so disappointed with your stay over Bank holiday but it was explained to you on booking that this area was all we had left available for a group of your size and was defined as wild camping which you happily agreed to and therefore paid your deposit. We were not made aware of any...

Have just returned from a bank holiday weekend camping trip to this place. We arrived on Friday with our horse Yani, having booked livery for the horse and a family camping pitch with electric hook up. Upon arrival we were excellently looked after, with the horse being stabled within 20 mins of arrival. After a 4hr journey this was very...

We had a far too short three night break here at the end of July 2016 Met on arrival by the owner and taken to see a number of available pitches and choose which we wanted. This had a stunning view over the estuary towards Barmouth and an electrical hookup with water point very close. If you are taking a...

Shower facilities are fantastic. Not much for kids to do. 15 min walk to Fairbourne - nothing there apart from steam railway which is okay. Barmouth is better but a good 30-40 min walk away - typical seaside town. You can get a little wooden dingy across from The steam railway end destination to Barmouth. £2 per person to go...

We arrived at the campsite slightly confused as there is little signage to find where the farmhouse is to actually check in. When we found it, the lady was very helpful as for some reason they had a problem their end and we were not booked in (even though we had spoken to them the day before and had a...

Stunning View, good location, and peaceful. Only let down was the toilet blocks, wifi and road. Toilet blocks were great standard and very clean, they were like an ensuite - shower toilet sink. Only problem was when peoplke where having showers you coudlnt go the toilet. There were 20 minute queues sometimes. I would suggest having the toilet and hsowers...

We are not creatures of habit and enjoy finding new sites but this one has us coming back for more! It's the views, that's the main attraction. Set high up overlooking the estuary gives the most peaceful feeling and some astonishing sunsets. It's a big trek down to the road or back but it keeps us fit! About 40 mins...

Before you read this please bear in mind - I hate camping... but the views and the owners/staff made this one of the best weekends I've had for a long time. Friendly & helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. I will return when I have a better mattress. We went Pony trekking which was great laugh with the staff...
