Our stay was short but sweet. We were welcomed warmly, and our room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Linda was very helpful with advice about our plans for the next day, and her delicious breakfast hit all the right spots.

Stayed here on a stopover from Scotland back to England. Had the family room which had was a double room and a single room with a door in between. This was ideal for us and our teenage child. The room was a bit dated but ideal for 1 night. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room....

A friend of mine and I stayed at the Hunters Lodge on our way up North for a gliding week in Scotland. The journey to Deeside is rather too much to do on a Friday afternoon from Southern England so we decided to stop near the Scottish border. Gretna is a small town whose claim to fame is for marriages...

Such a welcoming and homely place. We were made to feel very welcome, and the service was excellent. We were upgraded and the staff were very flexible when our arrangements changed. Would definitely stay at Hunters' Lodge again. Really nice place.
