This was a last minute weekend getaway with my sister and 2 dogs (one being a service dog). I would've just given an "average" rating but the girl at the front desk was great! She didn't charge us the pet fee for our non-service dog and then in the morning we noticed that we didn't have the "pod tray" for our in room coffee maker in which I went down to the front and this was addressed quickly. Not a frilly hotel, pretty basic but clean, comfortable and close to area activities such as Coopers Rock and Cheat Lake which we visited. No breakfast or coffee was available during Covid but had a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Good Place to Stay while visiting the area!

Chose this hotel as it was the only one I could find that accepted pets. My guests actually left in the middle of the night because the room was so stifling hot they couldn't sleep. The a.c. just wouldn't cool the room. The room was so small they had no place to set up their baby's portable crib. I had requested a crib from the hotel but they said they only had one, and it was in use. The light switches in the room were broken ("looked like someone put a fist through the wall"). What a disgrace. And $90 for the night!!

Jesse and her family are amazing, but in a Pandemic we cannot use the full resources and rightfully so. She accepted my dog and waived the fee knowing they are just re-opening from previous owners. I had zero expectations coming in because I sold my house in town so I am in limbo before the final transition phase. Upon walking in, immediate gratification. Jesse is smiling and welcoming and she is just a gem. These are good people and a good family run business. They will get this hotel back up and running, and frankly I would rather have a good staff who tries versus the bells and whistles of a 5 star that does not care at all, I have stayed at all of them. Trust me, in Morgantown the location is epic, safe, and they care. In fact, Jesse and the other front desk gentleman go out of their way just to say hello. The cleaning crew wear masks, but you can see their smile to just say "good morning!" and "How are you today?" You cannot ask for much more as a visitor. The price point is amazing as well so personally and ethically, I would say this would be the only property I stay at in Morgantown moving forward. Do not judge this property due to the previous owners nor reviews. This family is simply amazing and they care about you like family. In the off chance any of my 60k followers are in Morgantown, WV (bless your heart)... stay here for this family and for the city to keep the local good hearted people in business and not your run of the mill name brand hotels, THEY CARE!

This is a very clean, nicely run hotel. The room is spacious and includes a microwave and mini-fridge. The TV is good size and has a good selection of channels. The room also has a desk and plenty of easily accessible electric outlets. The only issue is the bed is a little too soft and the pillows too hard. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is also conveniently located within 15 min of sports venues. We will stay again when in town for an overnight stay.

I was told 1 price and charged a higher price, hair in my bed and stains and dirty bed spread. Breakfast; you would be better to spend the extra money and go to McDonalds. as it had very little to offer.
