Le Clos des Pierres Rouges is a spacious, beautifully decorated guest house with lovely meals and friendly hosts. Well worth the detour from the Chemin St Jacques! The only thing I would have liked was an earlier breakfast.

We loved this B&B! The hosts made two weary travelers feel right at home and the dinner and breakfast we had was outstanding! Our room was tastefully decorated, extremely clean, and having the patio off it was an added bonus as we were able to sleep with the door open and breath in that beautiful cool mountain air! The bed... More

Le Clos des Pierres Rouges is an absolutely superb B&B. The stone farmhouse is beautiful, tastefully decorated and exceptionally comfortable. Sylvie and Thierry are thoughtful and caring hosts, spoke excellent English and provided many useful tips on what to see and do in the area. We used this as a stopover on our way down to the south of France. It is a wonderful place - calm and quiet. Our children fell in love with Dyson, the very friendly Newfoundland. The owners are very attentive - from lending us a map and advising a route so we could stretch our legs before dinner, to accommodating... More

Wonderful stay on our first day on the Le Puy Le Chemin. Thierry and Sylvie welcomed us into their home, provided us a lovely room, and prepared a delicious French dinner and breakfast using ingredients from the local farms. Their company and the enchanting setting of their home set a very high standard for our journey right from the onset.... More

We stayed at Le Clos des Pierres Rouges for one night after our first day walking the Camino from Le Puy and could not be happier with the experience. Their home is beautiful, part of a tiny town nestled in the rolling hills; inside, it smells like a spa and you could eat off the (heated!) floors. Our hosts were... More
