We stayed here for one night and we heard about it on the tourism radio that was in our Maui campervan. As it had been heavily raining we were put on a site up from the stream, less mud! Still so much mud. We fed the eels. Lovely lady checked us in and gave us info for a restaurant not...

Stayed here about 40 odd years ago and revisited it again this month. It has not changed very much at all (thank goodness). The only difference was we were told not to catch the eels this time. The managers are fantastic and very helpful.

Paid a bit more for what was supposed to be a pet friendly stay in deluxe cabin but neither the hosts nor atmosphere was friendly. The cabin was dirty and extremely cramped with old peeling Lino and dated surrounding and terrible beds. Dangerous sparking jug and low curtain rail separating rooms that was a real danger for a head injury....

it's a bit stuck in the seventies, but that's not to say that's a bad thing. The prices are very reasonable indeed and the powered sites ample enough to allow you some privacy. There are some sites alongside a crystal clear stream and in that stream you can find Eddie the eel and his mates. If you go to this...

Lovely friendly place. Hosts are really welcoming. Set up is great with plenty of options for how you want to stay. Close enough to town and the wineries. Eddie the eel has about 10 friends. There is a pub in walking distance that serves good food

We arrived late and went to a motor home in central Blenheim. It was noisy and impersonal. So we checked out and came to Spring Valley. Oh how lovely! The owner was friendly and chatty. Ziggy the West Highland Terrier was adorable and the setting was fabulous with great access to the wineries. The price was competitive, with the flat...

So many rules that kept changing. The manger can't like his job. We left because rudeness not a true happy camping .maybe update of things and non military judgemental manger. Went to Picton instead what a nightmare at spring creek.

A lovely spot beside a fast flowing creek. We spent 2 nights there and would have stayed longer if we'd had more time. The eels provided an added attraction for all ages! Such a friendly personal place compared with the big chain parks! Will be top of our return list!

Only booked for 1 night thank goodness. Way over priced for what it was very run down kitchen was not very well equipped had dead flies all over the lights in the kitchen. The curtains in our cabin hardly covered the windows. They charge more than top 10 but certainly did not get close to a top 10 experience &...

Our favourite stop. Peaceful flowing stream beside campsite, not overcrowded, good facilities, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. One of the highlights was feeding the pet eels and trout in the stream. A little off the beaten track but well worth it. Stayed an extra night. PS; has a swimming pool.
