Stay 5 nights at Aroko Bungalows. Had the garden view, which overlooked the water. The staff are very friendly and accommodating with late arrivals and airport transfers. Has everything you need for self-catering, views are stunning of the Muri Lagoon. Kayaks and snorkels are available free of charge. Close to Muri town centre and beach. Great value for money. Would...

We stayed here for 7 nights celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The location was convenient to the town and walking distance to restaurants and bars. The accomodation was basic however fitted in well with the island feel. We stayed in a lagoon front bungalow which was perfect location. The bungalows had all the basics to cook if you wanted to....

We enjoyed our stay at Aroko Bungalows in October this year. Great value for money for our short stay and very handy location to restaurants etc. Friendly on-site manager and although not the greatest area to swim, it was awesome for crab and fish spotting at low tide - plus very close to Muri Beach and any other beach spots...

Perfect location - lots of restaurants, beaches, etc in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were really happy there. Fantastic views, snorkelling gear provided etc...Only issue was a group of rowdy people who turned up on our last night. Wish they'd stayed somewhere else..the property has a 'no parties' policy. We had a lovely time there.

A nice location, quiet, clean and well presented. Reasonably basic, but with everything needed for a relaxing stay - and close to a beautiful lagoon. Off-street parking for scooters and cars. Friendly helpful staff. Just a short walk to Muri, but far away enough not to be part of the hustle and bustle there. A good value accomodation option.

Basic accommodation that has all you need for a relaxed stay in Rarotonga. Within easy walk to Muri and a bus stop outside. The islands across the lagoon are accessible and great to explore (especially with kids - just make sure you wear insect repellent). There is an extensive decking that is great to relax on, and you can see...

Very comfortable, family owned bungalows. Easy walk to Muri but far enough away to avoid the busy vibe. Definitely good for those wanting to avoid "resorts." Everything you need without the trappings. Lagoon bungalows are preferable as the garden ones which we stayed in, have noise from the road (not too bad though). Sonny and staff are good to deal...

Arrived in the dark, so not really sure what we were in for. We were very lucky to have 2 beach front Bungalows, so when we awoke in the morning, O.M.Gosh what a magnificent view across the lagoon to Oneroa, and Motutapu Islands, its going to be a perfect week. Our Bungalow was very basic, but clean, and very adequate,...

Aroko was pretty much what I expected the only disappointing thing was the size of the fridge which could have been at least half as big again. The bungalows were clean with regular visits from cleaners and the atmosphere was pleasant with plenty of time on the deck looking over the lagoon. Sunny the manager was happy to pass on...
