We had visited Cape Town several years ago and stayed at one of the larger downtown hotels. For our recent family trip, we looked for a smaller, more intimate, "cozy" hotel, a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cape Town. We could...More
I have stayed at The Andros 5 times now. Last time I thought it couldn't get any better, but I was wrong and it did. The staff and management are wonderful - attentive, welcoming and always friendly - and one feels so comfortable staying there....More

Great central location, very classy and comfortable room/bathroom and first class breakfast. Service was also excellent. Very good value for money. Will definitely stay at the Andros hotel next time I visit Cape Town.

Quick trip to catch up with mates. The Andros was perfectly located for our needs. Staff were attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The rooms were large and comfy. The bathrooms spacious with all the necessary upmarket items. The nightly turn down service with chocolate and...More

This is my first visit to Capetown and I am looking for a centrally located hotel within walking distance of the waterfront. Are you near it?

Dear Andrea, the Andros is in a quiet area of the town, not too far from the waterfront, and you can have taxis/ transfers or I think even a shuttle? ( but check for sure with the hotel) to go where. I don t think it is in optimal walking distance, but it depends what you are searching for... if whaterfront for shopping or dinner, than I would say take Andros, its easier from there to go for example to the cape of good hope. Andros is calm and a relaxed oasis. if you search more "movida" take something directly at the waterfront, but be aware, that at waterfront there is a lot of traffic jam... so if you plan tours... not ideal. best regards Corina
