Wonderfully situated between many points of interest, the Shady Hollow gives a warm cozy feeling for guests to quietly relax after a full day of adventure. Upon small conversations, you will be pleased to know how they keep the Irish traditions alive as best they can. Just ask them about St. Stephen's Day and the Straw Boy's visiting the nursing...

I was blessed to stay 3 nights at Seamus & Maureen's lovely B & B, & it was great! Set in the beautiful area of County Cork, it's well situated for touring around that area. Especially if you've hired Seamus as your very adept & informative driver/guide! Each morning we were greeted warmly with a delicious Irish breakfast, prepared by...

We could not have asked more from Maureen, Seamus and Stephen for our stay with them. Every thought for our comfort and pleasure was considered by them. We were well informed of places to see and how to get there. Our room and breakfasts were most enjoyable. The position of Shady Hollow is well situated in getting to all that...

Shady Hollow B & B presents a home atmosphere with excellent accomodations. The breakfast represented the Irish quizine with a relaxed family setting. Seamus and Maureen headed up our tour schedule with in depth knowledge of Irish history and made sure our travel with them were comfortable and informative. We would choose Shady Hollow again when we next tour Ireland.

Shady Hollow was recommended to be by a friend who stayed there about 15 years ago. We e-mailed Seamus & Maureen, who run Shady Hollow, to let them know we were planning a trip to Ireland. We received an immediate response from Seamus, who then helped us plan & finalize our trip. Shady Hollow was one of our stop overs,...

Shady Hallow was one of my favorite places to stay in all of Ireland. It was peaceful, charming and exactly what we were looking for. Seamus and Maureen made us feel very welcome and ensured we were comfortable. Their house had comfortable beds and some of the softest pillows in all of Ireland. Maureen's cooking was exquisite. She made us...

I recently visited Ireland with my girlfriends. The owners of Shady Hollow have a lovely B and B. There is a big living area with a fireplace, comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing. There is wi-fi, which I appreciated to stay in touch with my family. We were served tea and scones and snacks when we arrived, and I still...

I have stayed at Shady Hollow B & B on six different occasions. The home is lovely and the hostess is a wonderful chef! The Buckleys are very caring of their guests at all times. Seamus Buckley also does personalized tours of Ireland. He has led five tours for my groups and everyone has been most grateful for his expertise...
