A warm welcome sets the tone of a stay in the Wallis Arms. I have stayed a number of times over the last few years. The room is large, with good quality fittings. Big bed decent linen. The bathroom has the deepest bath with lashings of hot water. Toiletries supplied. Plenty fluffy towels which are changed daily. There is a...

Stayed here for 4 nights over a weekend. Room was at the front overlooking the street, but no noise from traffic. The room was clean, comfortable, modern, and relaxing. I was a bit unsure when we got there as you check in in the bar, but are then shown upstairs. The breakfasts were plentiful and really nice, and the food...

We stayed 2 nights at the Wallis Arms in early October 2015. From the moment we walked in we were treated like very special people. All the staff could just not do enough for us. The room was lovely, clean and well appointed. Meals were really good, great value for money. We stayed in some great hotels during our Ireland...

I stayed at the Wallis Arms for ten days in September 2015 and I think it is a great place to stay. Over the last forty years I have traveled extensively for business and leisure. I have stayed in some five star hotels and in some places that were barely one star. The Wallis Arms is a very small property...

Stayed here as I was down in Millstreet for the night at an event. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and grand size for two people, breakfast super the eggs in particular what more could you ask for.

Was a bit dubious on first impressions as I walked into what effectively is a bar but was very warmly welcomed and told that the rooms were upstairs so was expecting a B&B like experience at this stage but the rooms section was very modern. The room itself was adequate for the money and the bathroom and shower were very...

Big is not always better and that is the case here at The Wallis Arms Hotel. To be fair in modern terms this is probably classed more as a guest house than a hotel, I think they only have about eight rooms all situated over the front bar. The rooms are very well presented with all mod cons and spotless...

Location was excellent, right in the centre of Millstreet. The staff and indeed the people in the bar gave us a real Cork welcome. The meals were tasty, I don't know about prices of food as we were not paying the bill. There is a spacious lounge where we attended a function in the afternoon. There was a great atmosphere...
