Fabulous food, lovely accommodations and quaint, lovely atmosphere. Be sure to take the tour of the castle located on property! A little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Close to Doolin and Cliffs of Moher.
My son and his fiance decided to get married in Ireland and chose Ballinalacken because of its location, beauty and country house. There were 16 of us in the wedding party and we rented several rooms. The wedding took place on the hill with the...More
We only spent one night but we wish we could have stayed longer. The view is incredible. Our room was so nice. The castle tour was unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner as well. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
We stayed for 3 days to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The castle is on the property. Everything was beautiful. Cecelia and Declan knocked themselves out to make sure everything went perfectly. Rooms were lovely, food was outstanding. The location is matchless - a short drive...More

There are taxis in town but not many, the pubs in town are great but the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in the area. Pub in the hotel is VERY quiet and you'll find you're often the only one there, but it's very quaint and the service is good. No live music in the hotel pub.
The actual town has a few really good pubs, and it's the centre of music so you'll find it all good fun. Recommend O'Connor's and McGann's (locals' favourites).
