Stayed for 3 nights in a family room( room# 2), which consisted of 1 x double bed, 2 x single beds and en-suite. Great welcome from Anthony and his team, who guided us around the hostel explaining the finer details. Breakfast is included and is plentiful, with local breads, cereals and various drinks on offer. Full kitchen facilities are available... More

Doolin hostel is very centrally located right in the heart of doolin, near the cliff walks & 2km from the pier. It's a super location. The family rooms at €160 are over priced, and there is no hot breakfast, your basically paying hotel prices for a basic hostel. The continental breakfast had no fruit at all, just bread & scones.... Myself along with around 40 musicians young and old travelled over to County Clare to compete at the All Ireland Fleadh in Ennis. Anthony and his team at Doolin Hostel made our stay very enjoyable and went out their way to help with a variety of queries. Our stay also included a lovely continental breakfast each morning before we headed... More

I was in Doolin and stopped here for coffee after a long walk. We had coffee carrot cake and a scone. Sitting outside in the sun the coffee was georgous but the carrot cake and its cream and sauce was divine. Well done you do a great job John Ps going back again tiday

Doolin Hostel is right in the heart of Doolin with shops and pubs and music every night! Lovely clean rooms, great staff and very good value. Highly recommend this lovely hostel for couples, families or individual travellers. A modern place to stay in an ancient village setting near to the ferry to the Cliffs of Moher or the Aran Islands

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome! The staff is helpful, kind and warm! The rooms were clean and well equipped and the hostel was perfectly located! The breakfast was simple but it was perfect for what we wanted! The pizza is the best pizza I have ever had without a doubt! I would definitely... More

I've stayed here a good few times now, and its always absolutely brilliant. This time we were 12 in number, and they catered to all of our needs. Anthony looked after us, and was an absolute gentleman the whole way throughout the our stay. We had cycled to Doolin from Galway and the hostel provided great storage for the bikes,... More

Rooms not as nice as on website. There are 2 buildings & the older building is very noisy with road traffic & the rooms are not worth the price. The cafe onsite has good food & there is a pleasant living room but it would be lovely to have access to the kitchen in the older building also.

I loved Doolin Hostel - I think I left part of my heart in Doolin! Pros: friendly and chipper and helpful staff from the moment I walked in the door, great outlets and lights at bunks (including USB socket, so travel adapter wasn't needed!), warm & cozy duvet and pillow and sheet, good location, excellent breakfast options (yogurt!! with toppings!),... We stayed for three nights at this lovely hostel while on a cycling trip through Ireland. This hostel is very well appointed with clean, up to date rooms, well-appointed bathrooms, a common room with a lovely fire place to make it oh so cozy on a rainy evening, a very well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space to store food safely....
