Nellie Dees was a nice B&B. Jimmy was very helpful with directions about where to go and what to see. It was perfectly located with a 4-5 minute walk to several pubs where we listened to Irish music. Room was very comfortable. Wide variety of choices for breakfast.

I took my family to Ireland and stayed at Nellie Dees for the second time. The location is perfect as you are a short walk into the heard of town where the pubs, shops and cafe's are. Our host Jimmy was very friendly and very helpful, he couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and spacious and breakfast...

stayed here one night while passing through so we could see the Cliffs the next morning. Very clean B&B with comfy beds. No TV in room, but big TV in sitting/breakfast room for guest use. Good wi fi. Very easy quick stroll down to the local pub for good dinner and a pint. Jimmy and his wife were lovely hosts....

Was travelling with my parents and teenage daughter and booked through Air BnB. Directions provided to accommodation excellent, warm welcome, excellent room and spotlessly clean. A small fridge in room with fresh milk for tea/coffee is the only suggestion I would make for improvement. Breakfast was fantastic and very large with cooked as well as cereals, fresh bread, brewed coffee...

I wanted to see Cliffs of Moher so I found a place nearby in Doolin. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time (arrived in Doolin around 10pm and left around 8am. The caretaker at Nellie Dees was very friendly and welcoming. The room was great for the purpose (a place to sleep), but if I was staying multiple nights I'd likely...

4 years ago we reviewed Nellie Dees and said it was good for the music, that being our main reason for going to Doolin again. McGans and McDermotts are a short walk from Nellie Dees whilst also being just far enough away if you do want to escape any excess noise. The room was clean, comfortable and well provided for....

Doolin was our first stop in Ireland after landing in Shannon, and I am so glad we found Nellie Dee's. The B&B is in a perfect location, about a 7-minute walk from two local pubs (we ate at McGann's, but have heard both are excellent), and a 15-minute drive from the Cliffs of Mohar. Our room was cosy with all...
